@predatorpaintball98 Pathogen 2 Barrel on our website, 'nuff said. We're going to be running a sale on them in about a week... keep your eyes peeled. It's the same barrel I use on my CCM T-2 and Ego SL74 - such a killer barrel -Ethan
@predatorpaintball98 Best does not equal cheapest. Great barrels for the price are: CP Tactical and Lapco BigShot. Any more in cost and they are just going to be cooler not better. Any less in cost and you run into quality issues.
I will buy one to start play paintball, I want buy a BT Delta ( not elite, just delta normal ) , but my friend told me about phenom, that is much better than delta...
Its a superb marker. Love it. I've had this for 1,5 + years now and its WAY BETTER than what I had witch whas the regular tippmann x7. Hustlepaintball keep up the good work with producing vids.
hi, im interested in buying the x7. i have a choice between tm7, tm15 and the x7. i like the x7, i like shooting long range at fast rates, im reallt looking mainly at the x7 but i heard theres alot of problems is there always problems or only like one when you fix it itll never come back? what one would you pick and why? sorry im asking so many questions, lol sorry:)
@dogharley1112 All three are on the same par as far as performance and reliability, I personally like the feel of the TM-15 over the other two. The Phenom does not have many issues, and if there are any issues it comes with a two year manufacturer's warranty and Tippmann will take care of any issue you have, bar none. So, my personal choice is the TM-15 as it is quieter and I like the marker ever so slightly more. But the Phenom is backed by a much more caring company. It is up to you.
is there another paintballl tactical/scenario marker you would recomend for around the same price? i looked at the tiberius t4 but i wouldnt use first strike rounds ..
@dogharley1112 The T4 is an amazing marker but not something I can compare to these two. It is very accurate and the ability to use First Strikes is the big attraction. Tiberius markers are a bit more difficult to maintain and might not be worth it if the First Strike is not an option.
On most websites there are two different x7 phenoms. one is 300$ and one is 400$. What is the difference between the two? Do they have the same firing modes?
@laxbro29 The $300 one is the non-electronic Mechanical version (which can be upgraded to the Electronic one, as shown in the video). The $400 one is the electronic version of the Phenom, which is featured in this video.
@MattandNate919 its probably less online but at my local paintball field its 450 dollars canadian for the electrical version so i guess my field is just overpriced as fuck
@matt15m ya but i was talking about the electrical version and it is probably less online but at my local field it is 450 for a stock electrical phenom
Hi HustlePaintball, Are you familiar with the Assault Kit for the X7? How about the straightline? Now what I am asking is will the front sight of the assault kit fit on a straightline barrel?
hey hustle paintball i plan on getting a Phenom very soon and i was wondering if the 9.5 barrel is good? like how much distance and accuracy can i get on it?
@shookon23 The stock barrel is mostly adequate but your accuracy and distance can be improved quite a bit with a barrel upgrade. The distance will vary depending on your setup but is well within traditional paintball standards, the accuracy is better than the other Tippmann markers but can still be improved. I would look at a 14" barrel from Lapco, Pathogen or Flasc, all three are great barrels that will give a great accuracy boost.
@G48E1iT3 The Flatline is a great barrel that gives you extra distance. For an all-around barrel I would take a look at the Pathogen, Lapco or Flasc barrels. They don't provide the distance that the Flatline does but are great for accuracy and efficiency.
@HustlePaintball but what happen when you shoot with the flatline i know that the balls is gonna do a back spin but does the flatline barrel change the trajectory of the balls ? will she keep a straight line
or it change nothing exept the distance ? thanks !
@G48E1iT3 The Flatline does change the trajectory from a stock barrel but is not a dramatic change. The flight of the ball once it leaves will be mostly flat. You do not have to "lob" longer shots to get them to reach.
@HustlePaintball is this electronic trigger? someone told me that electronic guns that you have to take really good care of them because they mess up easily? Could you verify this? Because 3 people have told me that and they say not to get Electric because if it gets wet it messes up
@6psycho9 Yes, this one has an electronic trigger. There is also a non-electronic, Mechanical version for $100 less. But, if you let your paintball gear get so wet that it's ruining the electronics, you're practically swimming :) Paintballs don't like that much water either, so wading in a creek is kind of a bad idea.
But, the electronics are protected, and playing in the rain shouldn't be a problem - just don't let it sit out in the rain or anything like that :)
@HustlePaintball ah ok awesome. I feel much better because this guy said he went through 3electric guns so I was like wtf, and the guys who im going to play with say the same thing. Also if it messes up how much it is to replace
@rejected147 Do you want something more customizable? or something less customizable? Flasc is very high quality and you have more bore options, plus the added benefit of tips and extensions.
@HustlePaintball so are u saying flasc is better? all i want is a quite accurate barrel but if flasc isnt as accurate as edge then i may as well not spend the extra 50 but if theyre the same or about the same then id do flasc
@rejected147 The control bore kit gives you the ultimate in accuracy. Being able to size your paint is a huge benefit. If you do with a double threaded barrel you will not be disappointed but the control bore kit is the ultimate upgrade.
@rejected147 X7 Phenom and the A5 are completely different markers from the way that they operate to the way that they feel and look. The X7 Phenom is a completely electro-pneumatic marker and is hard to compare to the A5. If price is no object, get the X7 Phenom, you will be much happier with the added performance.
@rejected147 The major difference between the two barrels (besides price) is that the Straightline comes with the sized barrel backs. This option alone makes the Straightline much better. On that note I would recommend you look at the TechT iFit kit along with a good aftermarket barrel like a Lapco or Pathogen 2.
im a relatively new player to paintball and im thinking about buy a phenom. I was wondering if you guys knew anything about its flatline barrel and if its worth buying.
@rejected147 If you want increased distance but reduced accuracy the Flatline is great! However if accuracy is what you're going for i would go with a 14" linear barrel.
I JUST GOT MINE FROM HUSTLE!!! I LOVE IT! If you are thinking of getting one, BUY IT FROM THEM!!!! Great cust service.... No one can beat there price.... the staff know there stuff...they ship fast......
wanted to know in your opinion if you would go BT15 or x7 phenom? I play only woodsball and love the milsim look, but accuracy is my most important feature. Which would you go with if you were me?
@fjdel4585 X7 would definitely be the better option for you, especially if you are leaning more towards accuracy. The X7 also has more upgrades than any other gun on the market
tippmann x7 or a dangerous pwer g4? i play more woodsball then speedball and i got a sp-1 with apex right now. i wanna upgrade to a new gun but im not sure between a dangerous power g4 or a x7.
Would you recommend the cyclone upgrade kit for the phenom? Or have the new changes to the cyclone negated the need for it? What about using a zero kick hammer... Is it worth it?
@GoToWorkWasted I would definitely suggest the upgrades, they made a few changes but they're really not extreme, if you want a higher performing Phenom, upgrade that cyclone! As for the Zero Kick hammer, it can't be used in the Phenom because it doesn't have a rear bolt, it is a spool valve design. But the hammer does reduce kick in the other Tippmann markers, if it's really worth it, I'm not sure.
@zStone941 Like any Tippmann, it runs, but like CO2 doesn't really run well, it is inconsistent and destroys seals. If you can afford it, always go with compressed air.
I have been thinking about getting a "woodsball gun" and i have been looking at the Alpha black tactical, A5 and the x7 or the phenom so i was wondering which one do you think i should buy?
@Starterzzin The Phenom is definitely the best of the bunch, it's got the newest technology from Tippmann and is truly remarkable. If you want rails for tactical accessories go with the X7, if you don't care for that stuff go with the A5, and if you want the same reliability as the others but something cheap and not as upgradeable go with the Alpha Black.
wow great video but i think ill stay with my a5 but im going to send this video to one of my friends who needs a new gun, do you know how much these things are?
@HustlePaintball yes i checked out the tm-15 as well..i have had alot of people telling me that the tm 15 was the first gun that they loved from the start
im just getting into paint ball, yes im a noob and i dont no much about this sport! but i really want a tippmann, do you think i should get the normal tippmann X7 with the cheeper price? or is it worth spending the extra $200 for the X7 Phenom? also just so you know i will be playing more woods ball and scenario paintball. so could you tell me if i should get the X7 or the X7 Phenom? and why i should pick which over the othere? also any 1 who reeds this can say what u think!
@HMProductions95 The Phenom is easily the best marker that Tippmann makes, it is much better than the previous versions of the X7, the only thing you may want to watch out for is that the Phenom does not have a flatline barrel available for it yet, and it also does not have any trigger upgrades yet.
@HustlePaintball so dus that mean you think i should get the x7 phenom? and what is the purpase of a flatline barrel (iv heard alot about it but i dont no what its 4)?
also i wont need a triger upgrade right away as im just starting.
@HMProductions95 The flatline will add distance to your shots. I think if you have the money for it you might as well go with the Phenom, but the regular X7 E-Grip performs well too.
@HustlePaintball ok ill probably get the phenom then. 1 more question (sorry to bug u so much) what is the ups and down to the x7 and phenom? just send your answer in a private msg to me if its to long for a coment. also do you have any stores on vancouver island Canada?
@HustlePaintball ok thanks alot for all your advice/info! i think iv decided on getting the phenom. so i might post back when i get it and tell you what i think! once again thanks 4 all your advice/info and your time! thanks! :D
This is a killer starter gun (any Tippmann gun is). It will last for many years and allow you to develop your skills. "The perfect starter gun" is a topic that will be debated, but as long as it's a quality, durable gun in your price range, it's a great choice.
Yes, it will include a loader. If you order a package from us, we want to make sure you've got all the equipment to get out on the field. Every package will have a loader.
Awesome videos. Can't wait to get mine ordered on Monday from you guys!
Oh, and by the way, if anyone has ANY frets at all with ordering from them, just let me tell you that they have, hands down, the best customer service in the business. They say that themselves and actually mean it, which is an impressive feat.
I'm so pumped to get this one question tho what would be the best a cheapest barrel for the best performance

can you please make a video on the best barrels for this gun! or paintball in general
SnakeDude2000 2 years ago
Sure thing, thanks for the suggestion!

the reason why the adjustment is like an automag is because the phenom is basically an automag on the inside
i wanna make it a pump :)

Metadyne needs to make a Mp5K kit for the phenom.

So is there no need for a low pressure regulator on my tank since it has an internal regulator.
miztaj 2 years ago
Yes, that's right - any compressed air tank will work just fine w/ the Phenom.

Yes, we can do a video on how to install the Tippmann A5 Hall Effect E-Grip kit on the A5. Make sure you're subscribed!

im going to start paintball is this a good starter gun?
bioshocker40 2 years ago
This is a killer starter gun (any Tippmann gun is). It will last for many years and allow you to develop your skills. "The perfect starter gun" is a topic that will be debated, but as long as it's a quality, durable gun in your price range, it's a great choice.

Question: Do you HAVE to have the front shroud on it?
Ir0nExpress 2 years ago
Not at all! It's just up to your person preference.

Some amazing mods are for the 98c. Now I just need a carbon fiber hi pressure tank. =p
civcom12 2 years ago
Yes, it will include a loader. If you order a package from us, we want to make sure you've got all the equipment to get out on the field. Every package will have a loader.

Awesome videos. Can't wait to get mine ordered on Monday from you guys!
Oh, and by the way, if anyone has ANY frets at all with ordering from them, just let me tell you that they have, hands down, the best customer service in the business. They say that themselves and actually mean it, which is an impressive feat.
