i was just at silverwood 4 days ago. i went on this ride twice. it's the best ride in the park.

I love that ride :) Best spot is either in the front or back :D!!! I went on it like 10 times!:D

i do not suggest going on tremors first, the after shock really isnt scary. the only scary part is the first drop. aftershock is easier then tremor because when your strapped in at tremors you have one seat belt and a bar two feet in front of you!!

on aftershock you feel safer with the way you sit.

on after shock you do fall backwards BUT when you fall backwards you dont get that stomach in the troat feeling you get when falling forward! :)

@xthelostnekox Lol Hey Silverwood is located in Athol,Idaho And if your scared of Roller Coasters then i suggest that you go on Tremors or Timber Terror once you get over the fear of weightiness then you can try the aftershock.

@s055623 no the track is above you air is below you you get slowly lifted up dropper go through a cobra roll (2 inversions) then u go thru a loop then it lifts u up and u do it all again backwards

I love this ride, but i hated the line ups.... I went on it 4 times over the 2 days I was there and each time I had to wait like an hour in the line. But it was well worth the ride! Aftershock <3

its at six flags great america (Gurnee Illinois), its called Deja Vu, but they took it down because they gave it to this place... and now its called aftershock.... R.I.P Deja Vu...

I heard it was because of the problems it had. It still gets stuck. lol I was about to get on it and the breaks locked. People were stuck and it started raining haha! They have this in CA six flags too but when I went there it was out of service. I think maybe it's just got lots of mechanical probs. who knows.

@leah105 Ya it does have mechanical problems. but at silverwood not as many. Its a pretty reliable ride now ever since it came to silverwood.

@NorthwestCoasters17 Oh I agree. I love the ride. My husband said the guys at work(he's a sandblaster) said peices were brought in so they could find the hairline fractures on the metal track. It's probably fixed by now. I'll still ride. I'd rather the breaks lock up due to mechanical issues then not lock at all:)

Ive been on it probably the most times as just a regular guest. im up to 129 rides and it never gets old for me and out of those rides ive have gotten stuck on it but i really dont care. it was fun lol.

Not to sound like a nag but really how safe are rollar costers at Silverwood. They probably don't check them for weather damage do they????? or even replace the wood

yes they actually do repplace the wood....

you can tell.... they rplace the rotted broken ...ect... one every year..they are really safe too....no im not trying to sound like a nga but seriously !!!! there not dumb.....why would they not check for damage...im pretty sure they dont want to have lawsuits by the people who have crashed on a rollar coaster....seriously...think..­. i go there every year like 10 times...

Silverwood is one of the most safest parks in america. They do check for weather damage and they do replace the wood. If you ever go take a look and tremors and there is a whole new section of wood on it this year.

and there rides are very reliable
