As in, there's no idea what it is at all. In popular culture, UFO has a strong connatation towards extraterrestrial life, but he said nothing about it.

I'm glad he didn't deny it. I'd rather have him say on national television that he saw a UFO and have people laugh at him than have him deny it to preserve his chances of winning. Too bad he didn't win, I wasn't really aware of him at the time but this shows that he was at least honest, probably the only politician that's ever been that honest.

Just because he talks pretty during a presidential election that he has no intention of winning doesn't mean that accurately reflects his nature or record. Sure, he's not the worst of the worst, but he's pretty ineffectual and doesn't have much credibility in Washington or the Dem party.

And Russert knew the audience would involuntarily laugh for reasons they don't even know because most people are nervous sheep with such topics, and that there was no graceful way an honest man like Kucinich coulda answered that "question". I'm not a wingnut, and I saw a pack of 6 UFOs when I was about 12. There was a daytime power outage and I went outside because it was dark in the house, and I spotted them! I'm not a follower or David Icke or any silly stuff, but I'm telling you...I saw them!
My guess it was the government experimenting with electromagnetic pulses.

I think him seeing an UFO without or not he actually saw one is more symbolic, he found it moving because he felt a connection to the universe through this sighting, that there is more beyond our world, culture and belief...I think his opened mindedness about his experience is the reason why he is someone who is able to think outside of the box and not be bogged down by conventions.

The government doesn't want to admit alien spacecraft exsist. It's retarded to look at all the evidence, and confirmed top ranking military and government witnesses and say UFOs don't exsist. you know a lot of the 'illegal immigrants' are people who simply overstayed their visas (not your archetypal 'border jumper' since they likely came on an airplane but it is a fact most people ignore in the debate). another thing is illegals actually put more money back into the system than they take out; they pay social security and medicare taxes and never collect on their payments. so the issue is a lot more complex than you present it.

I really hope that all the presidental candidates believe in UFOs and/or life outside of this planet. Anyone with a mind intelligent enough to run this country should also be intelligent enough to be open to the possabilities.
I personally believe a healing president such as Dennis is exactly what this country needs. He's not just telling us what we want to hear, but what he really thinks.
