Let's face it...most things that Diana Krall does turns into magic.  But, I must admit, that I miss her piano playing in this song. Her playing brings every song that she does to another level, and when it's not around, you notice.

@earlwk Good god, she's gotten this poor song down on the ground and twisted it by the neck. I'd rather hear Foghorn Leghorn sing it -- this is a giant hariball. The musicians are good but even they seem puzzled by what she's up to. The bass player keeps clunking up the melody.

She definitely feels the music but I have to agree, Ella's rendition is still better. Mama Cass comes as a close second. I think if she sang this song today, it would be better. 14 more years of experience is like 14 years to mulling a sweet wine, gets better and better by the year.
