God is amazing. I look at the the earth, at the magnificence of the mountains, the rolling clouds in the sky, and reflective surface of the ocean and I see Him. I look at people, in their laugh lines, in their tears, in their outstretched arms, and I see Him. He is everywhere. I wish everyone could feel how I feel and see what I see.

Yes, i agree entirely that it is hard to see God's love sometimes in certain situations in the bible and currently, but he is perfectly just. He sees and knows what is best for the world in the proper time, we just have to have faith.

I feel the love of unicorns around me everyday of my life & I really do not now what I would do withought them. Life is too short to blindly follow a preposterous claim that there is an omniscient being that created everything that is, was, and ever will be. We know for a fact that we are on a small planet orbiting our sun that is thousands of times the size of Earth, and that sun is part of a cluster of other suns that are much larger, which are parts of galaxies, which are parts of galaxy clusters. And we know there are billions of galaxy clusters. And we are but a spec. Religion belongs in the past.

@tallliza There is no creator. According to the law of conservation of energy, energy cannot be created or destroyed. And according to the first law of thermodynamics, matter cannot be created or destroyed. These laws are indisputable. Every single atom that makes up your body, and everything you see has always existed. It has just been rearranged by the forces of gravity, electromagnetism, strong nuclear, and weak nuclear.
So, in saying this you are basically saying that science holds God in this state of confinement where he can not act outside of his own creation...... Let me remind you that when Jesus was on this Earth (this is proved historically) that He extirpated logic and scientific knowledge by his miracles and therefore acted outside of all logical and scientific reasoning. My point is, if there was a divine God he could surely act outside of these laws by his own divine power

And somewhere in first or second grade I realized that all scientific claims needed evidence to back them up. Of course at this young age I expected that science had been supporting these claims. B) Again, why does this means there is no God? God must favor believers in order for Him to be real? Believers have peace that only comes from God, but God does not say anywhere that we won't experience trials. And correction, unless you listen to Fox News, there is no substantial evidence that Jesus ever existed. There were many "prophets" back then many of which are not accounted for in the Bible, and the supposed acts of Jesus were never mentioned in any other historical documents other than the Bible.

And somewhere in first or second grade I realized that all scientific claims needed evidence to back them up. Of course at this young age I expected that science had been supporting these claims. They proved otherwise. I expect an omnipotent "God" would prove himself through real evidence. Anyone can write a book and claim a God.

Anyone who does not enter Heaven doesn't want to be there. Which is fine. God is not going to force you to be with Him if you don't want to be.
Heaven is where all the joy and love is. There is none left for the people in Hell. Hell is the opposite of Heaven, which is why it is a place where sin can have its way.

Five reasons why there is no god; A) Total absence from the natural world. No sign of a god, before, during or after, natural disastres B) The absolute absence of favoritism towards believers. Even churches need lightning-rods to protect them from god. C) The absence of any reaction, when crimes are committed in his name. C) The suffering of the innocent. D) The fact that human birth is beset with more problems than any animal. Why, if we are the masterpiece of his creation ?

@lizazoon unfortunately the comment box is not large enough to fully enlighten you on your perspectives. I will say the fact that God does not reside within our time space reality and his blessing do not come in chronological order in which we can see cause and reaction. Which takes care of A,B,C. The second C) and D) first question to you is "what makes someone innocent?". That takes care of second C). D) Pain is a great teacher, We have problems because we are sinful and cause them, not God.

--God does not reside within our time space reality-- The concept " out of time and space " is a meaningless theological concoction to make the existence of a god possible. It is a "contradictio in terminis". A contradiction in itself. As soon as there is something there is time and space.

@lizazoon Heres more insight. Foxs book of martyrs(read it),"though none go with me still I will follow". Just because I live for God doesn't mean my life will be perfect. I may live for God and get cut in half, If it be God's will. Its called Faith and not you nor any man, nor any fact, nor the skies or the Earth can destroy that. The apostle paul believed the highest honor that can bestowed a follower of christ, is to experience hardship in his name. Worldly Goods do not equal Heavenly Goods.

Creation reveals a Creator. Your reasons are from a human perspective. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. God is in control and everything happens for a reason even if we don't understand it now. We eventually will.

Amen. i always use example like a dog and myself. let say the dog is human being and i am the God. the dog has no idea that i am a human being that knows how the world works and all because of its limited average 3 year old intelligence;whereelse i know it is just a dog and how much he knows and he can do.
Same thing with God and People. People are born with a limited intelligence that have no idea how BIG and powerful this God is. Quite oftenly, we think we know enouh about Him.

@lizazoon A) This is highly subjective. One person can see God working after a disaster and another person can won't. How does this disprove the existence of God? B) Again, why does this means there is no God? God must favor believers in order for Him to be real? Believers have peace that only comes from God, but God does not say anywhere that we won't experience trials. He promises never to leave us and we trust that He is in control so we have nothing to fear.

C) Even Jesus Christ suffered Himself so why would we not suffer? If there was no suffering how could we have compassion and show love?
D) I don't know what you are talking about so I can't answer.

I'm looking forward to playing this song at our church tomorrow morning. What an exuberant declaration! And if you're trying to learn how to play it, it isn't hard, but it is in the key of F#! It's basically a I-V-vim-IV progression in the chorus or F#-C#-D#m-B.

Nietsche was talking about how (in modern society) "scholars" won't accept that there is indeed a God (thus making Him "dead") and then he goes on to clarify that without God there are no absolutes, no moral compass, and thus we have become doomed to our self-destruction. If anything, Nietsche was saying how man NEEDS God, not the inference that you're talking about.
