yeah Jacks amp wasn't working when the curtain opened and then Reids amp cut out halfway through (hence the huge pause at 2:13) but the mike didnt handle screaming too well.

they are practically identical, and both as talentless - I'm sorry, but whatever either of them are they're not singing at all!
Even still only as a student I often compare some of today's genres to the 70s and 80s, and wonder what went wrong. In my opinion; Rap, hip-hop, street, screamo, many boybands (disgusting ones like busted & mcfly) and modern R&B all did, and it's a damn shame too.

Your point is fair enough and I kinda agree. Screaming is fine in bits. But nothing but screaming kinda defeats the point. How can you can emphasise emotion if ur just screaming all the time
the point of screaming is to express a PARTICULAR emotion, anger, grief, etc. and it goes with the rebellious nature of metal. it is the vocal technique used by most metal bands.
the playing was a well-balanced, varied and reasonably played song.
as for the 'singer' - well, let's just say, screaming is differentiated from singing for this reason. And this group's performence itself is the reason it should be illegal on-stage.
