Hey, Dunk, did you know you can cook that meat and it gives you more health? Simply make a furnace by putting 3 cobblestone at the top, 3 at the bottom, and 2 in the middle. (Left middle and Right middle. ((Leave middle of the whole thing empty)).) Then cook the meat by simply putting any fuel in such as Coal, Wood, Wooden Planks, etc. put the fuel at the bottom slot of the furnace, then put the food at the top slot.

Those "horrifying" (REALLY horrifying to me) noises are Dungeons. Dungeons have treasure in them. Just right click on the wooden lockers and put them into your inventory by clicking them and click any empty slot in the inventory. There are different sounds for different dungeons. (by them i mean the treasure).

that weird sound is a dungeon, dude i love your videos some tips for when your first starting are: destroy your bench and put it in your house lol and make a furnace and chest, chest holds stuff and furnace smelts stuff, use the furnace and put wood on top and bottom (youll know) and it makes charcoal, same as coal so you will have light, still try to get the bed though. dunkey, monsters spawn in dark places, so basically you can avoid them spawning if you put a lot of torches on the ground. The "horrible" noise means that there is a atleast 3 x 3 dark area. And coal looks like stone but with black spots. Theres coal right next to your house. :D

MINING: dig down to find some better ore.

Also as for explanations of parts of the game. That sound indicates that you are near a deep cave. Coal are those blocks that have speckled black inside of them. Monsters will always spawn in caves or wherever there is very low light, including your house if you don't put a torch inside. Also you should keep your bed in the center of the room because if it is near a wall it can glitch to let monsters inside.
