  • 0:38 is that the lady with the porn-watching husband? something smith, i think she was called..

  • Sky being biased yet again...

  • @mellowNdark unlike the impartial BBC (=propaganda machine of TrashLabour)

  • @IlRezzonico Ah a Daily Mail reader. How Lovely! Please explain your comment oh ghastly one...

  • Yet more in depth, intellectual analysis on Sky News.

  • I told them in 2004 that if they did not restructure unitised investment and pensions that the next bubble to burst would lead to the collapse the hole of the banking system. They didn’t listen then and there not listening know.

  • Murdock News

  • That's the most blatent piece of right wing propaganda I've seen in the media for a long time. All the focus is on a slip of the tongue and everything else he says is edited out or muted. Then Cameron is portrayed as the victor when all he's capable of addressing is the slip of the tongue.

  • what a complete slab of shit, this shithole country is finished

  • Show this idiot what you really think of him on june 4th!

  • Dont forget to kick him in the ballots on june 4th ! ;0)

  • Id laugh at that fat twat as well

  • nu labour.........BROKEN PROMISE

"Tony Blair promised in 1999 that the Government would reduce the number of poor children in Britain from 3.4m to 1.7m by 2010, and then eradicate the problem completely a decade later.

But that goal is nowhere near being met as an estimated 3m children are still living below the breadline, and over the past two years the number in relative poverty has actually increased."

nu labour = the party of POVERTY

  • He made a mistake talking... WHOOPS! Big deal, like noones done that before. It wasn't even that funny. Cameron and the conservatives laughed like immature children... And there are people that vote conservative? WTF?

  • because he is really thinking about saving the world that's y he helped america and gave the money to United States and forgot about the businesses in UK that are going to bankrupt. made a mistake? i guess so... LOL

  • he was thinking of saving the world that's why he's slipped... why did he give the money to america? that's part of saving the world isn't it? but i guess save ur own ass first before saving others.. coz you can't save others if you are out of breath(money) or dying LOL...

  • he was thinking of saving the world that's why he's slipped... why did he give the money to america? that's part of saving the world isn't it? but i guess save ur own ass first before saving others.. coz you can't save others if you are out of breath(money) or dying LOL...

  • You have no sence of humour at all... We all know what party you vote for the broke one.

  • LOL I have no sense of humor... Your comment is funnier than Gordon Brown's.

I am not brainwashed by the media, or taken in by Camerons clever wordplay. Lets face it, the conservative party ruined this country and its taken Labour twelve years to fix it.

  • "its taken Labour twelve years to fix it. "

LMAO Are you realy trying to say LABOUR HAS FIXED THE PROBLEM.

Lol, Brown has made it much worse xD

  • Yes Labour has fixed many of the problems the conservatives caused. Not to say of course that Labour have caused no problems at all; just nowhere neat the level the conservative party has in the past.

We're currently in a GLOBAL recession, and there are people out there who think this is solely the fault of Gordon Brown... Are you seriously suggesting if we had a Conservative government for the last twelve years we wouldn't be in recession now?

We would. And it would be ten times worse.

  • canada and australia didn't have to bail out banks. the 'jewel' in gordons crown was his seperating of the bank of england. that failed. he is fucking useless.

  • Yep, he did make a mistake doing separating the banks. Conservatives would have done the same eventually.

I think people are misinterpreting me.

I don't think Gordon Brown is ace, or even a good Prime Minister, he just a lot better than the main alternative.

The lesser of two evils, if you will.

  • conservatives wanted the seperation of the BOE. however they didn't want another quango like the FSA regulating banks. This should have been the job of the BOE soley, so they know what is going on in the city, and can apporiately alter interest rates. that is the major fuck up that gordon did. also gordo actively promoting light touch regulation of the FSA also caused it. it is his fault. at least the tory front bench has worked in business so know how to manage stuff.

  • I don't think it would have mattered whether the Bank of England had a regulator or not, I think it depends more on whether the regulator does its job effectively. I think we'd still be in a recession without regulation.

"the tory front bench has worked in business"

That is EXACTLY the reason not to elect a Conservative government. They will change legislation to ensure that businesses (such as theirs) will prosper, without any regard for the vast majority of people in the UK.

  • the think is labour is on the verge of killing the goose that lays the golden egg (goose being private business and egg is tax revenue). a strong privvate sector will lead to a strong public sector. this is the thing i don't think you understand. private business should be the only 'holy cow', not the nhs, not education etc. this money that pays for them doesn't come from thin air. taxing the succesful at 50 percent will drive out wealth creation, only to fund 0.7% of the 1.1trillion pound debt

  • Where would you suggest the tax to pay off the debt comes from? Should we let the successful make more money, while the more socially deprived earn less?

Of course there does have to be a thriving private sector (as you correctly pointed out) but to shift the tax burden from the rich to the poor isn't going to encourage people to spend their money.

On a sidenote, can you name an industry/company that was once in the public sector which is now private that is cheaper and/or a better service?

  • 1st para., lower taxes mean more tax revenue. this has been proved. its fact. these people employ people in companies and facilitate progress in the economy.

don't tax anyone till 10grand then make it flat all the way to billionaires, eg 22%.that IS fair! this 'progressive' crap is nonsense. it will be cheaper to collect and less avoidence and evaision would occur.

can you name any industry/company that wasn't screwed up when they were nationalised? job agency's are far better the job centre.

  • "This has been proved. its fact."

On the contrary; whilst the theory is sound, in the vast majority of cases it simply doesnt happen: For example, has Gordon's 2.5% VAT decrease really brought in more money? It certainally hasn't encouraged me to spend.

Job agencies get you a job better, agreed; then take a stupid amount of your earnings. Bus service, (at least where I live) was FAR better when regulated; cheap, clean, on time, accessible to all. Now its expensive, arrogant staff, and late.

  • i was referringincome and business tax and natinal insurance, apologies, i ran out of space. but regards to vat reduction, it was unfunded, and we'll end up paying more on interest for 12 billion.

  • what about the car industry? we were making lots of cars and when they were nationalised, strikes scuttled them aswell as shit cars. it was still expensive as you had to pay tax to fund it. nationalising it was what killed alot of industries. especially mining. thatcher only wanted to close 8 mines, but after all the stikes, we were left with only about 8! those private mines would have gone bust, while the others prospered.

  • its not far, a person earning 15,000 which isn't a massive wage would walk away with 10,050 after tax and national insurance, not to mention council tax and the plephora of other taxes we have to pay

wheras someboy on say 100,000 is left with 67,000 pa over 6 times as much, it simply makes sense that those who earn more should pay more and those who earn less pay less, that is the only truly fair way to tax people

  • many jobs are dependant on the frivolities of the uber rich, for example would their b any socialists at the rolls royce factory?

a flat tax where everyone pays the same proportion of their wage is the fairest. it means everyone can aspire and progress themselves. wehre i come from people on the wage create jobs and deserve that money. stealing people hard earned cash is theft. why are these poor people havig kids if they want to leech of everyone else?

  • "why are these poor people having kids if they want to leech off everyone else"? we're not talking about dossers on benefits here, we're talking about hard working people, people who often work far harder for their small wage than many rich people ever have, people being exploited by the rich, the rich should pay more because they HAVE more to pay with, if two people are working as hard as each other is it fair that because of circumstance one earns more than the other? that's capitalism for you

  • sorry mate, their is no such thing as society, what is stopping people declaring the UN's self determination act on their house? i can respect a person for workig hard like the dust bin man or the street cleaner who provide vital services, but i respect people who work smarter. this is the reason our civilistation is at this stage and not still in the stone age is because people who work smarter can advance ad what u are proposing is reversing this trend.

  • because doing so would be a pointless exercise and i'm sorry but most of what you'd said doesn't make any sense.. people who work smarter?? wtf is that supposed to mean? i'm gona guess you mean scientists and the like? so your telling me if a person has aptitude and intelligence but is too poor to be educated they don't deserve your respect? and how in any way is having rich people paying more into the public purse than the poor going to reverse the trend of human development? your an idiot

  • no i don't mean scientist, take a lumber jack, one uses an axe the other a chain saw. The chainsaw man has more ovwerheads, but can cut more trees. this is paralleled in royal mail. unions scupper modernisation. did you mean 'you're' instead of 'your'? Uneducated wanker.

  • Unions protect the interests of the workers; this stops corporations from taking advantage of them when they have no other choice. Only a selfish bastard thinks the way you do.

    +

Are you seriously attacking my education based on yout00b grammar?? Count the characters in that last reply, I'd used all 500, unfortunately no room for the extra two characters. So yeah, to sum up.. ahhahahahaha

  • look, if you really want us all to live in the stone age, move to north korea. socialism=fail. Unions and nationalisation are why british leyland went tits up. thats also why we have virtually no mining industry in the uk deal with it, those are the facts. stop whining like a little bitch, if you want money, go and fucking earn you lazy fucking leach.

  • I work, and earn my own money, neither do I claim any form of benefit, i'm willing to bet the same can't be said for you? You dont get any subsidy?

Neither am I complaining about money, i'm looking at things from a bigger angle than you obviously are, because i'm not resorting to personally attacking you with every comment, only your argument.

I think there have to be systems in place that protect workers from being exploited because everyone deserves a certain level of lifestyle, simple as

  • the systems that should be inplace should be regulation about wage fixing between large companies, then let the free market decide the wages and benefits. if the wage isn't what you can live on, adapt or find another job somewhere else.

  • i'll be honest bud, after all that I deff agree with your last comment

sorry that got so heated, haha

    :D

  • Lulz

  • Well, Gordon is entitled to slip and say "save the world", look at us in the US, we have a pathological liar that just won not too clean elections and has not only billed himself to be the "fix" for the US, but the world, that "he will heal the world".

  • what was the key thing???

That he's gonna loose an election?

  • i don't think politics is a laughing matter. so i think gordon brown was justified to continue acting seriously unlike the other immature MPs who acted like wild animals. i really can't believe this behaviour happens in parliament. i thought it stopped in secondary school.

  • politics is a private golf club

  • what's even worse,is there are people called whips.Who basically bully MP's to vote whatever way the each Party wants to them vote.Labour seems to be the worst at the moment.

  • Yer. I was in the commons on Monday watching the debate on the speaker and an MP pointed out the labour party had issued a 3 line whip to back hi. This is the most severe form of whip and it shows that Labour has lost all party unity.

  • One word - Hilarious.

  • gordon brown saves a kitten stuck up a tree.he calls the SAS to rescue it and claims he rescued it and not them

  • It may be a slip of the tongue, but Freudian all the same.

  • OH NO, THE PM HAD A SLIP OF THE TONGUE, WHO HAVE WE ENTRUSTED POWER TOO?!

I'm gonna get straight in my nuclear bunker out back through complete and utter fear to what mistakes he may make in the future, I mean, what's next?! Dropping a jar of jam by accident? Slipping on a bit of black ice? Declaring WAR by accident?!

    WHEN WILL THE MADNESS END?!

  • Grateful??? You must be joking. Plunging our nation into billions of pounds of debt so that we can get our DVD players for 20p cheaper? You must be having a laugh. Tony Blair is the past, let it go. What we have now id FAR more worrying and potentially a lot more dangerous to our nation. I'm more worried about this idiot than i am terrorists, and i know im not the only one. That's the problem.

  • girl rides naked on motorbike through Wollworths in Redcar UK. From the movie "is that it?" Pass it on

  • It's just a slip of the tongue, for God's sake. Meant to be "saved the banks and led the world". He did do this and we should be grateful. The problem is Tony Blair would have laughed with the Tories, then said something witty.

  • "he just presses on pretending it didn't happen"

Pretty much how he runs his government.

  • and they say maggie thatcher went power crazy !

  • He didn't even laugh about it at the time. As the man in the video says he just presses on pretending it didn't happen. You could even see the speaker struggling to keep it together. Get a sense of humour, you robotic freak.

  • The government is in a world of it's own

He makes a slip of the tounge, although somewhat amusing, provokes a rather, immautre, childish response from the conservatives

I mean really, these people behave like out of control teenagers in the commons and we're supposed to place our trust in them to run our country?

The weak speaker of the house doesn't do much in such situations, he can't control the supposed "adults" in the room and his weakly conversed "Order....order..uh uh, order" is laughable

  • Only those fucking spin monsters would, after having no choice whatsoever, claim that throwing unbelievable amounts of money at the retarded greedy shit balls, who got themselves and us in this mess, was doing something wither clever or heroic. This government is appalling on new levels.

This however was merely a slip of the tongue.

  • If only he didn't believe it too.

  • That's called a Freudian Slip.

    What a tosser.

  • ROFLMAO!!!
