  • I prefer this version, but the beat is almost identical to Starshine by Gorillaz. I guess that's why they changed it.

  • i was there.

  • this happened to be what i downloaded when this came out and i love this version the most by faar. Drums and Johnyy's screaming guitar

  • chills

  • absolutely beautiful

  • Wow, I really like this version.

  • if this song/album had a hole, i dont care where on its body, i would fuck it to a considerably ridiculous level, along with basically every other radiohead song/album!

  • In Rainbows disk 2 (on the vinyl release, etc)

  • there's a way out..

  • the best version of go slowly

  • @chelitoyorke I agree.... i wish i could catch them in Japan

  • its the sexy version. loves it!

  • after hearing this live version go slowly is my favorite in rainbows song

  • WOW this version is so much better!

  • i love the string sound that johnny gets on this version. so good :)

  • nice footage amazing song where is Wolverhampton?

  • Great song, crowd are wankers. I was at them in Dublin last yr, they played well but fucking hell i wanted to beat the little shitheads from Oxford or Cambridge who had to comment on everything Thom said. 'Oh i want your babies Thom', and some lad shouting 'marry me thom' I wasn't as disgusted at the English since i watched 'In the Name Of The Father'

Some fans are such hippie wankers. I should learn to love my neighbour as myself but would encourage fans to listen instead of commenting.

  • Wow...with he drums i´ts another song...

  • good song, but thom didnt half set himself a challenge with those lyrics, timing and pitch!

  • I didn't no yelling douchebags like radiohead?

  • haha, yelling douchebags = happy people?

Dude, everyone enjoys it in a differnt way.. .theres plenty of other videos if it bothers yoo :P

  • love it... U CAN DU EET!!

  • Radiohead have changed my life...not just through their song...but also the way they perform them...this brought me to tears...its breathtaking.

  • this song opens up new dimensions in my soul...as if im traveling into space yet im still here...as if i travel back in time also...my childhood appears before my eyes...

  • This song is just pure magic ...

  • i dont thing go slowly would be in the album because it's not new i mean it's thers but not brand new... that was the point i gess. and videotape it's the perfect end fot volume 1 in rainbows.

  • i just love this version. You can do it! lol

  • Where can you purchase the 2nd disc for in Rainbows?

  • torrent

  • I can't believe somebody quoted Rob Schneider at a Radiohead concert. I hope he was evacuated with extreme prejudice by fans.

  • What did Rob Schneider say........curious?

  • The annoying "You can do it" fan at the beginning.

If I was there I would of slapped that douche for saying such a stupid thing.

  • this version is so sexy ..(apart from the ''u can do it'')

  • Whoa! This version is fucking sweet!

  • go slowly so should've ended up on disc 1 of In Rainbows, I nearly pissed myself when I heard the song for the first time.. it's so beautiful

  • yea totally agree,

it should have gone on, 10 songs is a bit short so wouldn't have been a bad idea (not that it isnt great ne way), and if they had to take a song off my vote would be for Faust Arp ( i know im gunna cop it for saying that :P)

  • I'm gonna disagree and say that IF they absolutely HAD TO take off a song, my vote would be for Videotape.

Now don't get me wrong, it's a great song, but the basement version of just Thom is infinitely better. I listened to that version first and was in love with it, and when I heard the album version I was so disappointed. It was a completely different mood.

If they ended In Rainbows with Go Slowly it would have been absolutely amazing.

But In Rainbows was amazing anyways. (:

  • I throught i was the only one who thought that!!!....i love Videotape...i really...really do...but to me when Jigsaw Falling Into Place ended with the mood i felt from that....and to hear Videotape come on...it just felt out of place...i agree that Go Slowly would fit better after it....or Last Flowers....that would have made it PERFECT....but i still adore In Rainbows...i mean ITS RADIOHEAD!!!

  • I loved faust arp..

  • Um.... Wow, just wow!!!! ;)

  • This is just amazing!

  • I feel like this version is too similar to the bridge from There There.

  • I liked the album version a lot better. So layered and dark.

  • For a second, I thought that heckler was gonna keep it up.....even he must've had to shut up at this work of beautiful art.....

soooo gorgeous, I love how Radiohead's music evolves in so many diff ways, live or studio...

  • Beautiful Song!!!

  • This could be the greatest slowed-down, "mood driven" Radiohead track since "Pyramid Song". Either version you listen to, it's just incredible how captivating they are.

  • Sail To The Moon is a lot more mood driven than Go Slowly, in my opinion.

  • this is how it should have been recorded. they definitely missed on this one.

  • i love this version n i love old down is the new up, the live was so hectic n busy n i loved it n album version just is so boring compared to it

  • No words can describe the beauty of this song.

  • I wish Phil laid down drums on the album version, towards the end....both versions still amazing though, Radiohead has been my fave band for eleven years, no sign of stopping any time soon!

  • I agree

  • This song is so sexy

  • all music is are feelings put into another sence and thoms just so good at making the transition i swear we share the same brain fuck they are the best band ever

  • yeah, thom's good at making sense ... sadly, you don't ...

  • This version sounds much more eerie and heartwarming than the album version. I like it.

  • love them...I love how sing this song thom yorke...and nude...

but I didn't like how he sang last flowers on the cd, I prefer it when he sang them live years ago, with guitar.

  • how can so much emotion come from listening to music.. i love this band

  • couldn't agree more...i can literally feel it in my heart. some ppl think radiohead's music is "mood music" which is fine, but i don't need to be depressed or sad or whatever other ppl say to listen to radiohead...i can listen any time of day or night no matter what my mood is. amazing <3

  • agreed

  • Comment removed

  • @hangikjet thats the brilliance of radiohead man.

  • @bensley56 couldn't have said it better myself

  • Music IS the most powerful form of art, if it evokes emotions in you, it's nothing extraordinary, though the essence of music itself on the other hand is something that I pursue to understand, yet I fear that I shall never get there.

  • @cannabisabuser touché. nice music taste btw

  • this is beautiful

  • ...what the fuck did you just type, shut up

  • lol. love your comment.

  • i fucking love this band

  • The live 06 versions are better than the album vers.

  • Outstanding!

  • i love the drums on this version

  • fuck yer.

  • by that i mean why didnt they do it with this much emotion.

  • Dude you got it all wrong

  • why didnt they do this on in rainbows b for fucks sake>>!!

  • technically they did its on the 2nd Disc

  • i meant why didnt they do it as good.

  • haha

  • I totally agree with abetrasken. Currently my favorite song of all time.

  • I think this song is even better individually than any of the songs on In Rainbows disc 1 or 2! It gives me a special kind of goosebumps.

  • best song on disc 2

pretty hard to capture live i'd say, but this is pretty damn magical

  • I hate the idiot that screams "You can do it!!!!".

    Otherwise, awesome performance.

  • It seems fine for me though =)

  • This song is so sexy

  • I think it's wonderful that there are so many dimensions to the new songs. They're equally beautiful in their multiple versions, each in a different way that reveals itself more and more with each listen. Kudos to Radiohead.

  • 4 minute warning had drums.

  • I still listen to the album version, but it was so much better live. DRUMS!!! and Piano!!! In my opinion this song is outstanding as performed in the video, and really weakened on the album. Radiohead is still the greatest.

  • people say that this song belongs on the b-side. To be honest its better then a few of the songs off in rainbows.

  • my favorite song from bonus CD

  • They're technically not b-sides, but they are without a doubt not a part of the album. They're just extra songs.. and b-side is where they would fit in.

  • I know what a b side is, i know what an a side is, i know what bonus tracks are. I was just trying to compare it to My Iron Lung EP, and worried that some great songs could have been relegated to this status.

  • i like this song way too much

hope its not too much different on the album

  • It's definitely the ''fans only'' second half of the album :P

A non fan wouldn't download/pay for the discbox, unless they were a fan. Catch my vibe?

Thom Yorke is god. And whoever said ''Tell us about the new album'' is the luckiest man in the world, he technically spoke to Thom Yorke and got a response. I would faint instantly. I love Thom Yorke. And Jonny. And the others, of course.

  • They're just regular guys who happen to make music that you like... it's a bit strange to put them on a pedestal like that.

  • for me is the second half of in rainbows

  • for me too.

  • i think the same, cause tracks like down is the new up or bangers' n mash just can't be b-sides, there's no way at all...

  • and Videotape was a crap closer.

  • A B side is a track that is sold with an A side (an A side being a single). They're bonus tracks, which is a different thing.

  • but it's almost the same thing, the fact is that these ''other'' tracks aren't part of the original In Rainbows CD, and that's a bit weird... In Rainbows it's a bit too short for my opinion, and trickface is right, Videotape wasn't a good closer.... it's not a crap, but just not the appropiate closer... i read that even jigsaw was going to be out of the album... but they decided to leave it at the end... thanks god!

  • Yeah, they're not the same thing.

  • yeah, whatever, i guess you don't seem to catch the idea...

  • I know what you're trying to say. But a B side is a song that is sold with a single. The songs on the bonus disc are just bonus songs. Just because a song is not on an album, that doesn't make it a B side.

  • Plopsack clearly has OCD. What a humourless nazi.

  • Thanks, Scott!

  • Anything for you mein fuhrer.

  • This would be a "bonus disc" to your discobox :)

  • Is the second CD just going to be considered a b side album, or a second half of in rainbows?

  • Neither. Do you know what a B side is?

  • yeah coldplay IS pretty gay

  • aahhhh soo beautiful

  • I think this would have made a great opening to the album, but sadly it has been placed on the b-sides disk

  • Nah I don't think, it's too slow a track to precede the album, 15 step gets you going straight away

  • It's not a B sides disk.

  • LMAO thanks for that. :p song is great though. Why do I have to wait so long to get this song though lol the wait seems longer now that the album is announced.

  • This song is hot as HELLL!!!! Beautiful song by itself, but add Thoms voice...SOOOO happy that I preordered the In Rainbows box set. I have to have this song on viynl

  • lol I see you found the same one. I was just about to post about this but I see you beat me to it.

    "ed's in the sand!"

  • IN RAINBOWS. can't wait.

  • going to be fucking slick, record companys are at their knees, monsters

  • haha, yeah. i love the distribution method RH have gone with for this album, we can only hope more bands do it to put an end to money grabbing record companies

  • ten more fucking days

  • in MY opinion the bests songs (that might be in LP7) are: open pick, bangers'n'mash, nude, 15 step, go slowly, house of cards, down is the new up, videotape and arpeggi.... the other ''new'' songs they played live aren't as good enough, for example 4 minute warning... it's a WEAK song IN MY OPINION. And All I Need is a song i can't stand (so boring), but i guess the LP version will be 10 times better than the live version.

  • But anyway, I'll be waiting...patiently.

  • The whole LP7 madness going on in the world became so ridiculous, that even Thom denies its existence. LOL )))

  • genialne, piekne, cudne, mistrzowskie. poprostu radiohead is da best

  • This reminds me of a Cure track that could have been on Disintegration

  • it does sound old school, in a good way

  • This is actually one of my new favourite Radiohead songs. Except Nude (which infact isn't new) 4 Minute Warning and All I Need. I don't know the fuss about Videotape, which to me lacks a sense of climax. I believe .. and oh .. I'm patiant.

  • it has a climax, but it can't be heard well cause of the crappy recordings in which the piano is muffled and the drums aren't loud enough

  • no im not joking ive never heard of these guys!

  • jordantravis11 you're joking right?

  • OK computer was to the 90's what Revolver was to the 60's, or what The Dark Side of the Moon was to the 70's!

  • but you know better, right?

  • Nice song but House of Cards, 15 step and Nude are probably the best new songs (Nude has been around since bout 98' but the version has changed slightly).

  • Sounds a bit like THERE THERE at the start of the riff.

  • I don't think this will be on the new album. But god I'd love to see it on there.

  • who knows, it might get on.

  • i dunno.. would you think everything in its right place would be on kid a from watching it live? live to studio sounded heaps different, or had a different style anyway. never kno what they could do with it

i love this and hope they can make it work on the album somehow

  • there there? or there?

  • there there

its amazing you'll love it if you like this song

but listen to all of "there there"

  • I need to go slowly with them...I have to choose

  • wow.. never heard of these guys.. definately good stuff man

  • listen to there there by radiohead

  • radiohead.. is god

  • deeply spiritual haunting music.

  • This is the best of the new batch i think, they better put this on the new album, or whatever they're making.

  • the fact that they are using chords similar to those found in the can song, doesn't mean they're ripping them off. after all, you don't have an infinite number of musical combinations. but can is definitely great, i agree.

  • never too late to go a little 'old school'. great track.

  • The first two tacts remind me of "There, There" You're right Colguhouny,at the same time I can really hear the resemblance between "Go slowly" and Sigur Rós' "Ny Batteri"! That's amazing! I like this song, hope it will be on LP7 soon!

  • yeah I hear the B minor of There, There as well

    pretty nifty track though, nonetheless

  • bullshit... I really love this new song too! ♥

  • I love the huge drums for intro. they have to keep it like that, avoid techno on this track, but the techno works well for 15 step.

  • can t wait till the new album- songs lkke this and arpeggi...mazin dude

  • love it!

    great song.

  • gREAT GIG, sHAME ABOUT THE VENUE...

No offence but i cant understand a fucking word that they say in wolverhampton.

Allit sounds like is a muffel

  • I love this one it's so beautiful, I really hope it's on the next record.

  • oh believer, come slowly, come slowly to me,

    i've been waiting, patient, patiently.

  • Love this.

Not my favourite new song, but I do love it.

    Reminds me of Ny Batteri.

  • you have the best video quality out of everyone else posting radiohead songs... nicely done!

  • sad and fucking brilliant every bands wishes they could be like them

  • They did a cover of "the thief" a while ago i think.

  • what's with the "you an do it!" guy? seriously?

  • ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh la mejor cancion

  • the thief by can

  • hail to the thief

    sorry

  • which can song are they ripping from?

  • awesome. all the new ones are awesome.

  • the ending on this is fantastic...look at jonny go

  • =( any-one know where I can get a donwload of that? please?

oh people. Videotape and Down Is The New Up are brillliannto! <3

  • this song is pretty damn good!

all the new songs are brilliant, best set of songs they've made in ages, i like the new sound...(if a bit poppy) but they're showing they are top of the league

    best band ever

  • Um...Arpeggi has a lot of views since because Pitchfork made a link to it a while back....

  • Why does this only have 1,500 views, while Arpeggi in Copenhagen has about 86,000?

  • Beautiful song, can't wait for the new album.

  • * and Open Pick, House of Cards... Bangers and Mash is interesting, not quite growing on me yet though... 4 minute warning, Gagging hour, Last Flowers... give them time

  • absolutely great!

    thank you so much!!!

  • strange... I think based on the 7 or so tracks I've heard this album will have the greatest variety sound by far of any Radiohead album to date.

Arpeggi, Nude, Go Slowly, 15 Step, Videotape, Spooks, Bodysnatchers...... I can't wait
