Priests, Bishops, Cardinals, Popes and Deacons need to see this video. Bishop Sheen was so very right in his anger to this author. More of our leaders of our Catholic, yes, CATHOLIC, church need to do the same thing instead of the mambie, pambie "peace and justice" progressives that water down the one-true-church, the Catholic Church. Wow! It's hard to top being an altar boy for Archbishop Sheen. Great personal story. Eagerly awaiting Bishop Sheen's canonization, should the Church raise him to that honor.

I started watching videos of Fulton sheen here on youtube about a year ago and what an amazing man he was, a true Role model for many Catholics today, we need someone like him again to put down these new age atheists who are quickly polluting society with secularism.
One of my favorite books is Life of Christ by Bishop Fulton Sheen. He was truly an awesome man. I would have loved to have seen him kick out the hippy and perhaps escort him if necessary.
Padre Pio had the same reaction when ppl came to confession. Many of Padre Pio’s penitents made the astounding statement that when in his confessional, they would experience the awesome impression of being before the judgment seat of God.If the penitent wasn’t honest, or just read through the list of his or her sins without the firm resolution to change, Padre Pio would often growl “get out.”
Sheen saw the grave sin of this man and reacted, "get out"! True Love...
Additional information. Padre Pio also threw certain priests and bishops out of his confessional. Padre Pio once told a priest: “If you knew fully what a fearful thing it is to sit in the tribunal of the confessional! We are administering the Blood of Christ. We must be careful that we do not fling it about by being too easy-going or negligent.” Ppl take their salvation way too lightly. Jesus said there would be surprises.. (Matt 7:15-23) Did we not prophesy in your name? I never knew you!
The Holy Bible says in John 2:14-16,"In the temple he found those who were selling oxen and sheep and pigeons, and the money-changers at their business.And making a whip of cords, he drove them all, with the sheep and oxen, out of the temple; and he poured out the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables.And he told those who sold the pigeons, "Take these things away; you shall not make my Father's house a house of trade." "(RSV).What would Jesus do? EXACTLY what Bishop Sheen did
I believe if we had more "Bishop Sheens" our Church wouldn't be in the shape it's in now. Thanks for sharing your story with us, that would not be a day I would never forget either!!!! =)
Considering Cyril and Jerome were just as fierce as how Sheen is described...i see nothing wrong with Sheen's reaction to the book. God bless his devotion.
