Misfits inspired lyrics and vocals with a Tyger Army like rhythm. You got the stand-up bass like Geoff Kresge used with Tyger Army. A little bit of AFI in there with the tighter "Whoa-o's" Although the woah-o dates back further than AFI, thats what I thought of.

It also helps if you are attracted to the various aspects of punk (this does not just mean hardcore!) Only then can you really appreciate psycho. The Cramps, King Kurt, Batmobile, early stuff by The Meteors, etc. etc. Newer stuff by bands like Stressor, The Magnetix, The Tabaltix, etc. You'll figure it out.
