Anyone notice how post-mid-1980s bands & musicians--with notable exceptions--are so lame? Blame this on the dumbing down of the populace as well as other reasons which space & time don't allow me to expound upon.

These post-1980s band & musicians are the antithesis of the 1960s-mid-80s.

How many more years of this doldrum era will we have to endure? Is there any reason to hope for a return of really EXCITING music? Or are we doomed to listening to songs of the past?
