@azriazmi90 actually it felt normal and comfortable, maybe can feel it narrower than the B734 but its ok though unless your fat then its not comfortable(if you really are, get two seats for yourself if flight is not full)

just flown with Delta Airlines from San francisco to Philadelphia wif b737-800....its the hellish 6 hours flight....the worst airliner ever....respect my own country that has the best airliner in the world...love u malaysia...

Are the leather seats comfy? Really need to know because I have a car with leather seats and it's very hard for my body to adopt it.

@DareVouGe i cant really explain that, but you have to try it yourself. Its really ok like normal seats but water proof and has soft cushions(i think). 9M-MXB has already arrived so they are 2 of this kind of aircraft.

@DareVouGe no, there was no safety video but there was the normal safety demo done my the Flight attendants. during my returning flight on this aircraft, the demonstration was in English not the normal Malay. and about the entertainment system, during this flight only what u saw in the video was on, the picture of Welcome to MAS. During my returning flight, you could use the onboard entertainment system but the headphones are not available on domestic flights

@Nat2370 Hmmmm...I guess they have not provided the safety video for this aircraft, but still, don't you think they should have planned about making it sooner? Regarding the demonstration in Malay or English, if there are all but one foreigner (non-Malaysian) onboard, the language shall be in English. (A MAS stewardess told me). For the entertainment system, I think they should provide headsets considering the flight to Jesselton from Sepang is roughly 150 minutes.

@starsaber100 They won the award before this new product was introduced. MAS scored exceptionally when it comes to its cabin crew, although they can be too professional and sober at times. About Firefly, I don't know because I haven't got the chance to use them. About the handphone issue, If you put your phone to offline/flight mode, its fine.

@starsaber100 Yes, its touch screen capable although not very user-friendly. When you asked about manual control, do you mean the handset control. Yes, it can be utilised.

@starsaber100 These days, most of the flight operations are handled by autopilot. The period where pilots put their skills to good use is during takeoff and landing.

I'm a fan of this plane. Glad that Malaysia Airlines decided to change the old 737. But sadly, they use it only for long-haul flight currently. But they need to consider to use the new fleets to full-board destinations. I went to Saigon every month by MAS, the flight is always full but the flight is always delay because of the technical problem. It's a horrible experience when an engineer turn up just before taking off to fix the problem. Feel really unsafe on a flight that pack with passengers.

@farith1 it would take time till all 35-55 aircrafts to be fully delivered. so now they use it for long haul flights out of kkia. just wait till 1-3 years time for the aircraft to service short haul flight. Once there was a flight bound for KK from KL on the b734. they cancelled the flight to merge/combine with the MH68. My flight was the MH2616. They changed my flight no to MH68 on the A330. First the gate was at A8, then when after boarding the aircraft. they asked us to disembark.

Yeah. I concur you. But I've two choice, between Malaysia Airlines n Air Asia for route to Saigon. Air Asia currently has a better advantage for that route because they're using the new arrival A320. Very good fleet actually. Sometimes I'll feel dizzy during the take-off because of the changes of pressure even in a big fleet like A340 or 777. But the new Airbus technology really impressive. I felt nothing during the take off.

@PilOtMAs1 actually, the flights between Tokyo Haneda and BKI are not on this flight. The flight is on another day. This is early morning 9am flight and the plane was already parked at the airport since 6am at least before that. The flight to tokyo i'm not sure if they use this 9M-MXA all the time but i'll try see the other flights on the web or in the future when i'm at the airport. this is a single journey flight from bki to kul and returning from kul to bki at 1:30pm
