i actually forgot about this game, is it worth getting? i liked it alot when i first read about it in magazines but it didn't get alot of interest eversince and i never see it in the shops (not that i shop for games in store anyway O_o)

It's my #1 game this gen :) The story is amazing and the atmosphere is really well done. Maybe the gameplay isn't that evolving but I had no problems with it. In the DLC (wich are very cheap and one of them is free if you get the retail version and not a 2nd hand version) you get more variety in gameplay wich is very cool. You should defenitly buy this of atleast rent it.

@WolkieNL I'm glad you have the passion for it. The atmosphere and graphics seem very emmersive; I remember buying PSM2, PSW, OPSM2 and PLAY magazines and always saw a little peice, somewhere hidden in the background of the magazine pages about Alan Wake - but not much more information about the game at the time was released. When i first read and watched trailers about the game i found it to be a very interesting world that i could imagine myself playing or being apart of. Really cool^^
