@Vitto264a devi mandare una lettera, NON MAIL ai produttori svizzeri. se ti scelgono devi andare a berna a un colloquio dove te lo vendono. Ma sono pazzi da legare, prima erano artigianali e costavano 800 euro, ora che sono stampati a macchina costano 1200. se vuoi un consiglio non ne vale la pena. E' comunque un bellissimo strumento...

Ti ho incontrato ad Amsterdam mentre suonavi, a settembre e sono rimasto particolarmente impressionato da questo strumento e dal sentimento che ci metti nel suonarlo.

Look up how to make a hank drum, and there are directions to make one out of a propane tank, which sounds really beautiful.  Also, Pantheon Steel makes something called a Halo, which is similar, I think, but it costs about $1500 last I heard and there is a waiting list.

Its in D-minor. It can only play the notes of the D-minor scale.

If you check other hang-drum related videos here, you will see that all of the players play in that same key, all the time.

Not the notes, but the sound that makes this instrument unique.
