  • ya gotta get out there and enjoy life ...don't worry about what others say, think or do ... be happy and live for the moment ... go pick up a pretty shirt and do your hair all pretty and feel good about YOU ... I used to feel depressed and then I realized, there is a higher power and gotta just love today and move forward hoping for an even better tomorrow ... ((SMILE))

  • I know it's hard =T My mom is trying to lose weight because it was affecting her healt already =T

    But you have to continue, set small goals and remember that all this will be worthed when you lose all the weight you want to. =]

    Like, for me my problem is studying. I absolutely hate to study but this year I want to go to MedSchool so I'll have to spend the whole year doing something I hate, and probably not having time for my friends or even for me, but at the end it will be worthed =]

  • I FEEL YOUR STRUGGLE MARI ! im in the same spot you are right now, just lacking the motivation to make that change, but dont want to give up the hopes and the goals you have. its a raw feeling. thank you for sharing this with me i feel like im not alone.

  • i have watched this three times and i cant find an example of failure...failure is the inability to recognize one's aililities and noy using it to improve. i dont ssee any failures here!

  • There are tough times in weight loss. It's hard when you lose your drive and motivation. I hope you can find someone new who can help you and motivate you. I wish you the very best.

  • Mari, we can not all be on track all of the time. If we could then we would not be making videos for very long. Like others I am not doing well at the moment either. I agree with the watching videos and feeling motivated for a short period of time thing.

    It's all part of this wonderful journey, the good thing is that you got your feeling out. You can come back to it later and see how you were feeling earlier. If I could give you a hug I would. Virtual Hug.

  • Mari.*hug* sometimes we all just need to take a step back and have a good cry. Lord knows I have had MANY of those lately.

    You are not failing. We all put so much pressure on ourselves and if one thing gets in our way we get upset and feel like we are failing. If weight loss was EASY we would all be super skinny by now. But it is HARD.You HAVE the drive. but sometimes we all just need a small break and some time to sort our the feelings in our head before we can commit 100% to this journey.

  • I was reading my messages with tears in my eyes this morning because I couldn't believe that I don't see what I do, they way you do. Today I feel relieved and I'm taking time to myself and focusing in what can I do for me. I know I will get back in the game eventually. I can't change the way things happens in life but I can have the strength on keep going. Thank you for being there for me. I need to read this. We don't see how hard we work until someone else say it. ~hugs <3

  • one thing i learned is that you can't keep pushing your body when it doesnt want to be pushed, take a break from hardcore dieting and exercising and get your head right.

    it might feel like you're failing now, but i'm sure that once you take a step back and look at everything calmly, it'll all fall into place for you.

  • I'm failing too, which is why i am going about raising money for charity via losing weight. Maybe you could join me? Hope all is well with you. I hope you have a FANTASTIC DAY TOMORROW!! :).

  • I guess failing is trying and I am glad we are trying. I love the idea of raising monies for charity by losing weight. I feel better today, it was just good to see that I am not iron woman even though I think I am. :P
