Good cover, I like that I can actually hear your guitar clearly, it seems like the majority of youtube covers are made up of people playing along to ridiculously loud backing tracks which drown out their playing, good to see there are some who dont!

The only thing I would say is practice the sweeps at a slow tempo a bit more, you appear to be speeding up and slowing down at certain points during them messing up the rhythm a bit which makes things a bit sloppy, nearly there though!

That's very good, brother. I'm surprised people are shocked that people can learn that by ear, actually. DevilDriver stuff was rediculously easy when the band first came on the scene. Now the only really hard stuff is the lead parts. You fortunately know your sweeps and scales, and you nailed it. If you tightened the screws just a bit, you could be a session guitarist for them if they don't feel like playing when they record the record. lol

not bad man. every time i come back and watch one of your newer videos. your playing ability increases quite a bit. but i think your tone is just getting worse, lol. you should really think about investing in a new amp or whatever your using for tone, sounds like direct recording. trust me, a good tone will make you sound muchh better, especially on those sweeps.
