LOL he is not a fucking hero, ruining an entire people and their prosperous kingdoms, and their culture and brainwashing them does not qualify someone as a hero. There are plenty of actual heroes that deserve a statue more than him...
He died a poor and unhappy man, that's just karma, too bad the asshole after him was even more oppresive and did not honor the agreement Legazpi at least made with the royal families. Regardless, should've left well enough alone.
@ThtOnePinoy Julius Caesar did exactly the same and he is a hero for italian people ... so why he's not a hero? Can you explain to me the difference between them? .... Greetings :)
