I'm confused, is there a new investigation of the events that happened on 911 already in place? It almost sounds like the 911 Commission itself is being investigated. I know that 911 Co-Commissioners Thomas Kean and Lee Hamilton have written a book describing some of the problems with the final report that writes the official history of what happened on that dreadful day. I also heard that the Pentagon and FAA are being investigated for false testimony to the 911 Commission.

Kean and Hamilton are on record saying they think they were set up to fail because of the funding, the deadline and the lack of access. In their book they reveal that they were highly skeptical of the NORAD timeline that ended up changing five or six times. They were contemplating referring the matter over to Justice for investigation but they decided not to. If they did, who knows what would have happenned. They definitely should have.
