I never heard of Lattice thank you sir for teaching everyone about that. It seems lot more easy set up that lattice than me using entire sheet paper on one problem plus your lattice way saves me more time. im going be taking my GED an its a time limit your lattice way will save me extra time. An I thank you deeply for that. Honest goodness thank you for sharing your wisdom with all us. You have ease my stress for me an Im going use your math teaching help me pass my GED test
I love lattice multiplication, I'm in 11th grade right now, and have been using it for 7 years since 4th grade when I first learned it. I've used regular multiplication maybe 20 times in the past 7 years, lol.
I have learnt something new, again. I've never heard of Lattice multiplication in all my 20years of learning in school. Just listening for it's sake, and viola! something new. I hope we all make a small donation. I have; a very small indeed. I know it's free, but you need to invest cash in something, anything.
What program are you using? I love the ease of writing, and the colors you chose! I teach with a smartboard, and if it's an app I can download, I'd love to know! Thanks for sharing!
We had a lattice when I lived with that chemist. He built it, b/c he was frustrated that all the golf balls kept hitting his house. We lived on a golf course, and it wasn't just for show. They actually played games-every dag on day.
He was afraid a window was going to get broken, and he didn't like the spots they left on the house. So he built a lattice and the balls kept getting stuck in the spaces instead of hitting the house.
I have always used this method since like the 3rd grade. once you get to a 3 digit by 2 digit numbers it takes an annoying amount of time

That's pretty cool. I find it rather cute how excited you sounded when doing the sums.

LOVE this method. Thank you so much! It's the first time I've heard of it, and it is so much easier than the methods I'd been taught in the past.

May I ask why you would ever use this method rather than traditional method ? just seems like a lot more work and time, however I could be wrong.
