The more you use Geass, the stronger it gets and also the harder to controll. The power of Lelouch's Geass got so powerfull at some point he couldn't turn it off. I guess that also increased his range.

sorry to disappointed you, but I've heard many of this kind of dubbing, I'm not japanese but indonesian and some dubbing are really suck and a few original dubbing was sometimes off, but from my opinion when I hear both, I prefer the japanese voice.

yeah many was thinking that way, because it was britain then it was better english spoken, but area 11 are nippon so it should have english translated to japanese.

for many years of watching anime, I had develop a habit for anime, that is like how compatible the voice and the character to my ears, for example kagura from gintama are way off between character personality and voice.

I like this anime, it has many small sad stories with great song background, and my ears like it ^^

in japan voice actors are more renowned and famous in America a lot of the times the voice only actors aren't anything big

I vote english dub voice :D he sounds more real for a teenager that kicks ass. He's not supposted to be a 40yr old man. he's a kid and thats why he's a bad ass. He does things that no one else can and makes them all look like fools. so the english dub is better because it shows more of his kid side while taking over powerful leadership of the entire world. So much so that his true father can only be Chuck Norris

I agree with 9ssgoku, the english voice actor suits Lelouch's "darker shade of grey" sort of character. It can be a softer voice and sort of a charismatic one when Lelouch speaks regularly but also has a sort of sinister edge to it all the time because Lelouch is usually manioulating people when he talks to them. The japanese voice in my opinion is TOO deep and ominous for someone of Lelouch's stature and personality. However it does kick ass when he plays Zero...
