Hey Sukomoto00 this is a cool tutorial btw i think an easier way of not getting fingerprints on the clay is wearing one of those white gloves.....hope that help because i wana no wear u got that colorful clay behind the clay dudes
@pr4mm4ven if you looks real close on my videos you can see my finger prints on my clay figures so i have not found a solution that really works sadly you might be able to get latex gloves to put on your hands that might work but i can go asking around and searching and I'll tell you what i come up with. I'm interested in this too now that you've peaked my interest.
@pr4mm4ven i have a problem with that and i have watched a few tutorials and have found out that your pinkie is the less callused then the other fingers and you can use it to smooth out your clay or you can buy or make a tool with a rubber tip to smooth with out finger marks
@martnsav yeah you could but if you put the video out then it wouldn't be a claymation to be correct it would be an animation but yeah you can use playdoh
@clayzach3 thanks for the comment and i usually smooth out the arms and legs and when it starts to crack i keep smoothing them and overlap them again and again
I have a question... did u buy that claytoon for a store or something like ebay? If u bought it from a store can u plz give me the name of that store?
@Pivotrulez54 sure i bought it from a store called michael's or i go to joann's craft store and look in the clay section should be around 3 to 4 $ i hope this helped
I started out in stop motion with 1 fps cuz i only had a video camera not a picture camera!!!!! They were so bad that i have never bothered posting them lol
What is macro setting...what is "fps"..between 8? Wow...LOTS of patience...this is why mine are little balls of clay against the wall...actually, I've never even gotten this far. This is awesome..thanks for the post..maybe I'll try it - again..although, I have no idea what a macro setting is....
Nice! Help me alot

Lemme Suggest.... You need some sticks or strings to make them stand steady, you just need them to put it inside like a bone.
BREBOYDE 1 week ago
@BREBOYDE thanks for the suggestion but i already do that just not all the time because some of the puppets don't need it :)

see4ward 1 year ago
@see4ward fps meens frames per second, for example if your working at 8 fps then for every 8 pictures you take that will make one second of animation
BagiClaymations 1 year ago
@see4ward macro setting means that your camera can focus on things 30 some inches away
