Your "Without Software" statement is flawed. True, you're not manually downloading software and running it. But you're still downloading, authorizing, and running a Java applet. Key word here is "authorizing"; not safe

Services like these which "require" something to run on your machine are flawed. You don't need Java, Flash or any other executable to get a file across a browser.

There was "download fever" but now it's down. Anyone with a truly safe alternative, kindly let me know! :)

i got to the site but i got "a problem occured - please make sure you select yes when prompted "always trust content from the publisher"... i did not get the message about running the applet that you mentioned..help! i'm new to the mac world...thanks!
