    GLEN BALLARD IS A GENIUS

    GLEN BALLARD IS A GENIUS

    GLEN BALLARD IS A GENIUS

    GLEN BALLARD IS A GENIUS

    GLEN BALLARD IS A GENIUS

  • @slikkwon This song has absolutely nothing to Do with Glen Ballard. This Track has Lyrics and Vocals By Alanis Morissette, Music by Alanis morissette and Guy Sigsworth.

  • anyone make an intrumental please

  • keep in mind songs like "The Guy Who Leaves" and "Tequilla" aren;t on the album, she put the outtakes on the bonus disc but they are not to be counted as as being on Flavors. Flavors only has 11 tracks. and I have to say, it's her best since JLP. the only thing I would change is I'd get rid of "Citizen" and "Moratorium" and replace them with "Orchid" and "20/20", but that's just me

  • @kisscatastrophe i so agree those song are way more beautiful i was so disappointed those were left out bummer i also wish Madness was on there and replace giggaling again for no reason "if i knew then what i know now"... i wouldn't have bought the album - oh who am i kidding its fuckin alanis morissette i still would have bought it even if it was just one song one there lol

  • she is such amazing singer and best performer

  • Just discovered this song and immediately I'm in love. What a FANTASTIC chorus! The whole song is awesome but there's something so intriguing about that chorus.

  • Happy Birthday Alanis Morissette!!!!!!

  • Fantastic, I love this song :)

  • I see some of you not liking Flavors.....I have to admit, she was very creative and deeply personal on this album, and I think it is really one of her best so far.....who knows what the next album has in store for us? I sure hope she combines her older style and this electronically infused material together for the next album.

  • Beautiful !!!

  • Nice voice.

  • This should have been on the album!!! I so love this song!

  • Good day

  • GOOSEBUMPS!!!

  • There is no remorse or regret to be had in life, not for those who have not committed any crime.

Poets only write rhymes, singers brings those words on melodies people listen to as escapism from their lives. There is no crime in singing beautifully and intelligently as she does.

  • This Song IS the BEST I am trying to order the Japanese album just to get this song... lol LOVE IT and LOVE HER!!!!

  • From what I can find this track was bonus track off the Flavor of album

    20/20 [Japanese Bonus Track]

  • this can be found on ebay on the single Underneath

  • this woman is one of the most amazing singer/songwriters in the history of music. she writes what's true to her and in doing so creates a following of emotionally sound and open people that relate to her every word. she's not out to make a buck or a zillion pretentious fans. she turns real life pain/happiness/anger/etc into amazing melodic poetry and thereby making even the most paralizing pain beautiful. i owe my life to her.

  • she is my HERO!!

  • She has to be one of those rarities that makes you happy to co-exist in the same era. I love to hear her speak. Her massive vocabulary sends chills in my body throughout. And thank the Heavens she doesn't "top the charts" with every released track... those are the artist easily forgotten because they lack inspiration and are only making songs for the moment to fall into the trend of the season. Alanis is a gem. Forever and a day a fan!

  • Well said, hope Alanis continues to make wonderful music, love her!!!

  • @BoAyumi1 ditto to the utmost! xo

  • Alanis is what the industry calls a "word-of-mouth" artist. It is understood that her product may not "explode" or race up the charts. Rather, her albums "have legs," meaning that they sell and sell and sell over the long run on the strength of verbal recommendations from one friend to another. And, yes, there =is= a sort of "cult" following. Alanis is a poet, after all.

  • very true. she is a poet. That is why she doesn't have to race to make a new album every year. One she takes her time writing it and carefully planning how it sounds..then since it lasts over the years she is able to do one every few years.

Althought one every year would be wonderful...lol

  • i completely agree, she has millions of dedicated fans, who all have people close to them that they can make liten to her, and then they become fans of her and so on. I know this because I am on eof those extremely dedicated fans. Ive introduced her to so many people who now love her almost as much as I do.

  • @mcorrupted I am that way with Alanis...huge fan and I do show friends what she did long after Pill...they go omg she is MUCH better after that cd

  • I don't agree, but Under Rug Swept was great. Flavors of Entanglement is awful, with only Tapes and Incomplete rating as very good to me. Tequila flat out sucks.

  • @rac717 ...Tequilla is stupid. however there are great tracks on Flavors that hark back to the supposed era which was in my opinion her best. Citizen of the planet,Versions of violence, moratorium, Tapes, Madness, Orchid, the guy who leaves...so many. The elctronic flourish she incorporated saved her from being boring which was what was happing in the so called chaos era.

  • Yancy, most of her past offerings left me wanting more. Even Chaos and Junkie contained some great stuff. I never found her boring. I just think that the music in Flavors is uninspired. Yes, Orchid is good, but falls short of the quality of so many other Alanis songs, IMO. I never tire of good accoustic guitar, and there is not enough on Flavors.

  • @rac717 It could just be a matter of taste then if your big into the acoustic aspects of music. JLP and SFIJ where 2 amazing albums and everything after that for me was blah. URS was a girly Im insecure album SCC was a self help album but then IDK Flavors brought back the loud music and a return to better lyric's (something other than the topic of love thank goodness.)

  • I added up all the bonuses from this album's sessions....technically she could have done another Feast On Scraps type album

  • amazing song... better than underneath!

  • love it

  • This song is wonderfall

  • wow I LOVE this song!!!! Awesome sound and her voice is amazing!!! I totally need this song!!!! Another good song left off the album....sigh.....

  • *sigh* why do the unreleased b sides tend to b better than the actual singles.... :-D

  • I know right! Have you listened to Delux Flavors of Entanglement....absolute genius! ;)

  • yeah, i love madness :-D

    all great really..

  • wicked!!!

  • This song is wicked!!! I can't seem to get hold of the underneath single online. I am desperate for this track. Go Alanis! x

  • this song is awesome, and I love Alanis soooo bad, and I still loving her even when I dont like one of her songs.... I admire the way she compose all the songs... I admire everything on her, I truly truly love her!

She is an artist and she is gonna be exposed to many negative comments day by day like any other artist...I know she doesnt care, and I kinda like that too.........

    I LOVE HER!

  • It definitely should have been includeed in the deluxe edition of FOE, great one, Please Alanis, do what you did with feast on scraps and include all of these wonderful songs!!!!

  • This song is really magic..amazing instrumental..

  • this song is amazing! should be on the deluxe version album... instead of ON THE TEQUiLA... I love alanis but that song is terrible...

  • I think so too... This is not her style and anyhow I don't like it too...

  • then fucking write an album and win grammies you cuntless bitch!

SHE IS an ARTIST and SONGWRITER and wonderful MUSICIAN she's FUCKING free to do whatever she feels like DOING, ok????

that song is sooooooooooo alanis, she doesnt care what anyone thinks, she'll just do it, she'll play sing and do whatever she feels like doing, she'll do it ok???

i mean..... if she's starts listening to what every idiot on the planet has to say about her she'll like sooo end up being a carbon copy of ___?

  • i do totally agree with you..!!! she is a musician and as one she doesn't make music only to sell it. So i love her for not giving us catchy and silly songs, soon forgotten... her songs might not be on top these days, but i listen to them over the years... this is what matters to me.

  • I totally agree with you. She may not be on top anymore but her music does stay with you through the years. She is my favorite artist regardless

  • The most amazing voice ever!!! Love it.

  • wow, speechless!

  • this song feels like it could have been from s.i.g.

  • that cover is beautiful...

and i love this song the harp at the end <3

  • This song is so amazing..the story of my life. I love Alanis!

  • Nádherná, nádherná, nádherná temná písnička!!!!!!

    Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful dark song!!!!!!

  • hey hey, in praise is awesome! but it is unique. awesome that she's pushing the envelope and making it a single. god the radio needs it to balance out the trash

  • this song is just plain amazing...love it...wished i would of discovered it sooner but it's still a good surprise...thanx!!!

  • Whoa this song just blows me away...chimes with quirky electronic beats and more intelligent lyrics from Alanis...she just keeps getting better, love this :D

  • This is amazing!!

Does anyone have the mp3? Message me.

  • This song is dazzling.

  • Best song from this album

  • beautiful song!

  • According to me Flavors Of Entanglement is the best album Alanis has released since Jagged Little Pill, but it's a shame this song isn't on it!!! It would've been a good alternative for "In Praise of the Vulnerable Man", the only song I don't like...lol Can't believe that IPOTVM (lol) is going to be her next single. Anyways, this song kicks ass big time!!!!

  • muchas gracias manu....

  • erster kommi ^.^
