It doesn't take much bite force to hold onto a human arm. Thinking you need a Rot or another 100+lb bully breed to subdue a human is ridiculous. For a 70+lb dog that can sprint 38mph and jump clean over a car, look no further than the Mal.

The pitbull is undefeted in the illegal dog fighting so its rare for other breeds to win most people dont match dogs like that but the malinois is just a perfect dog in many ways its inteligent learns very fast extremly agile and has enough power in his jaws to hold a intruder down or save your life i own a pitbull and i must say the breeds is amazing however i want to praticipate in schutzhund sport so im might get the malionois or the czechwolfdog hay i hope this answeres your dumb comment kid

Where do you get your information that this Malinois has a stronger bite force than a pit?

From what ive seen the Malinois would probably be the weakest of bite force among the working dogs. In saying that, there is not a finer working dog out there than a Malinois, even though some come close.

@Adonomos there was a test conducted the rot has the strongest bite force of any tamed dog followed up by the german shepherd than a pit.the shepherd and malinois are very comparable so thats pretty much it.the only true difference between the two is that the shepherd is smarter and the malinois is more agressive.

I'm not sure it's smart to ask this on a video of a Belgian Malinois (I figure everyone here likes Belgian Malinois the most), but can anyone tell me what would be a better dog, for just a pet, one that wouldn't require TOO much advanced training, a Malinois or a Tervuren?

Chunky for a mal.. You can also tell the dog as been jammed before due to him slowing down before the bite instead of commiting without due regard for his own safety.

The long attack isn't straight enough, the dog is holding in. But the bite on close-combat is deep en dry, so very good and the attack and recall is impressive.

Great discipline this type of dog demonstrated.  Impressive. I hope my 4 months old malinois can do the same soon.
