i have 500gb on my ps3 and i had it since 2006 when i came out not one problem lol and yea my 360 sounds like a fuckin plane in my game room. although i had 2 go through 3 of those shitty consles now i dnt even play anymore. i stopped paying my live account when i figured out PSN is free and has more to offer like PSN HOME and the blockbuster store and internet browser. i get all that free. only on ps3 oh and games make ps3 better like Gran Turismo 5, 256player FPS coming next year only on ps3

After playing a fast game like motorstorm: pacific rift, the disk is far hotter than the back of the PS3. You know what sucks in my ps3 though? The wireless card. My cable is 5 times faster.
wow! i haven't tried it via cable it depends on wireless connection really, a cable in general should be quicker as its direct link. The ps3 is a great quality piece of kit and i have recently got another one (replaced my crappy 360 5 times i got rrod.. so i sent it back for the final time and then sold it) the 80gb is a fine bit of kit for the price, i left it on all night and day doing several downloads/updates and it was still silent!
The 60gb on the other hand is silent but you can hear it after 6 hours of gta 4, when my LG tvs (5700 1080p ;)) volume is 6/100 which is low. so both great and the 80gb i got for £280 with kz2 which is a great price for what it is!!!! I recommend it defo.

It sounds like he either put a mic right up to an older, often used unit, because I have to admit my old 360 is a little bit loud, or he actually turned something like a dust buster on in the distance. My newer model makes relatively no sound at all.

The newer are the same and that xbox was new at the time just got it back from m$. So its new and the latest system.
