first you need to change your amp settings so it doesn't sound like a garbled mess. Then you need to learn the lead part for the chorus. Some of the parts were off, especially since your guitar sounded bad. Keep trying but It's not that hard of a song and I could do better. Good try though

Pretty good job but whatever mic you're using isn't very good at all. Plus you should learn the picking part of the bridge, it's one of the best-sounding parts of the song. And 6billiondeaths was right; it wasn't a good idea to use distortion in this song, because The Strokes play it very clean so as not to overpower the singer or the base or even the 2nd guitar.
