  • Now that you've had it for a while would you still recommend this tripod and grip setup?

  • I want that tripod set up too. it is $230 shipped right now.

  • @syedahmedrazaabidi ... The legs do extend to practically 0 degrees past the joints, but then the main column is probably 1.5 feet (it's not in front of me right now).... So I'm guessing you can get your camera AT LEAST 1.5-2 feet off the ground with the 055xprob without rotating the center column or something crazy.

  • awesome!!! what is the price range? I want one!

  • Thanks for the demonstration - I`m going to buy one!

  • Nice pod. I'm getting an 055xprob. I thought about paying more for a carbon fiber, but I actually like the idea of the tripod having more weight.

Maybe eventually I'll want one for carrying around more and get a lighter one as well.

  • @martinaee

Apparently, carbon tripods are stiffer, and you can always add a stone bag if you need more weight

  • wich camera doe you have?

  • Sweet mate. Thats better than anything I saw on Manfrotto's website. they should give you a job! Cheers.

  • Does that head hold the camera tight?

Looks like it was slipping a little.

  • You can adjust the fricton.

  • hey spearmint, lol what you doing on here, fancy meeting you like this,lol... i agree it looked as if it was slipping

  • you've sold it to me but how tall does it go?

  • I bought 488RC2. I think it's not bad too..it's easy to use.

  • hey, I bought it already. well not the 190CX, can't afford the carbon fibre, instead I bought the 190PROB. thanks for the video!

  • BTW what head did you buy for your 190xProb??

  • Can you make tilt or pan for video with that 322RC2 head?

  • To Blueworks: I'm not the video author (obviously), but a ball head can of course tilt or pan. The problem is that releasing the lock allows the camera to move in ALL directions, so getting a really smooth and isolated pan would be difficult (since it's so easy for it to shift up or down, or tilt, at the same time). Some ball heads (not the 322) have independent pan locks. The 488RC2 is one.

  • I think it a good video, it would be better if you had told us something about it also.

I think it was cute when you hummed....and what was the bell?

  • Nice gear bro :D

  • wow..nice tripod, I like that! how much do you spend for that thing?

  • it would cost around $250 for that hardware

  • wow! that's pretty sweet!

  • Someone in my office was talking so I couldn't hear the narration but it seemed like a pretty good demo.

    ;o)
