The Saint Paul Saints is a minor league team known for zany publicity stunts. My game was no less. My play didn't count. I hadn't played baseball since grade school. I did go to some batting cages but most of the pitches were near waist level, as they were when I practiced with the team. The opposing team could have gone along with the publicity and given me a chance of a hit but they didn't - hosebags!
