We dont actually crown him, we don't have the power to do so. He is king of kings and God of grace without us doing anything. We are his servants and we praise him but we don't have even close to the power to crown him.
@123jaynee123 Of course, thats not the intent of the song. It says in the Bible that God Will Award Us with crowns, but we give them to Jesus because it is through him we receive grace :)
