I saw the MKS and, the latest version of the TownCar, side by side...and, the MKS is actually bigger than, the TownCar! It's also looks larger than, the BMW 7-Series and, Lexus LS, also. ;-)

That's true. You and, me, both! The MKS is not a mid-sized car. It's full/plus size all the way. I saw one of these cars in Silver, last night. I looked VERY big and, beautiful(and, I usually don't call cars beautiful, lol.)! I'd love to have one of these cars, pronto! ;-)

No I would have to say more along the lines of the c class A4 and CTS. This car does not compete in the in those classes. It does not offer anywhere near the amount of options that come on the new euro cars. Check out the new E class and you will see what im talking about.

I know it comes in an AWD call... i've actually driven one. Its a decent car, but VERY heavy. 350hp in a 4000lb car... not so fun.

@biscuitninja How do you not make a car heavy and bloaty when they're supposed to be full sized sedans? I mean, that's what the Mustang is for. The Fusion will likely get a 4 cylinder Ecoboost in 2013 anyway. Don't worry.

350 to 355 HP with premium, only a 5 HP reduction with regular. Direct injection actually cools the charge as the piston hits Top Dead Center, and boosts HP; twin turbos, great performance.

Wait until 2010 or 2012 when Ford brings out a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder Ecoboost with the same HP as a normally aspirated 3.5 liter V-6 for the regular Taurus and a 1.6 liter Ecoboost replacing the 3.0 V-6 in the Fusion. Ford is going to meet the 2016 CAFE standards with only a small amount of downsizing.

I think that Lincoln is the best luxury brand on the market right now. With this amazing vehicle and the new MKZ and MKT, there aren't other cars out there that look nearly as good, offer the features and compare in price. I'll take one with the sport pack this summer.

this car only works well in black. That red/orange color is just awful. Also, i know most Lincoln buyers couldnt give 2 shits about performance, but this car performs rather horribly! Sorry, but ill take an ES350, CTS, or RL over this

im actually going to be on the market for a new car in about 6 months or so and was thinking about getting this car. however, ive heard that lincoln is going to release a twin turbo 2010 mks with ecoboost thats apparently only supposed to add about $700 more to the msrp (based on another review i saw on youtube)...if thats the case i might have to wait until next year. not sure though..

Ecoboost equipped models should be around the dealers for a test drive around June or July. hang on - from what some of my Ford engineer neighbors have told me, you want be disappointed.

oh really, june or july? i thought it would be a full year from now. yes i can definitely wait... and i agree with occckid123, the extra grunt is definitely something that i think the car is missing as well...although it does have grunt already. thanks for the tip, i'll definitely keep a watch out for the ecoboost models.

i like everything about the da car. Its slow though for the amount of power. Maybe its da all wheel drive. 3.7 litre for what. to still be slow. Maxima is trapping 99 in da 1/4. this only 91. altima hybrid is faster to 60 and does the same in the 1/4. too much money to have problems with 4cyl altimas.

If you test drive it, it doesn't feel slow - it may be the weight from the AWD - this is one heavy car. 3.5 liter Ecoboost V-6 is on tap this summer, rated at 355 bhp and 350 lb-ft torque, all while getting 16 mpg city and 25 mpg highway, with AWD. Those who get the EcoBoost V-6 will also get a bunch of other options including 19-inch wheels, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, all-wheel-drive, push-button start, ambient lighting, HID headlights, and rain-sensing wipers.

I've test driven one twice - it's a sweet ride. AWD works flawlessly. THX II is the best sound system I've ever heard. Comfortable seats, lots of room, handles well. Great ride.
