Well are you a Christian....if you are then u will understand that it does not glorify GOD&that it is not something that I am willing to do because it hurts my testimony&witness.we as Christians say we need to be holy&stuff like that but very few pursue that kind of a life style..which makes some hypocrites..partially..I work to practice what i preach.u no what i mean.not really preach but u no.does that answer your Q? does anyone have a better reason cuz that was kind of a bad way2explain it

not really...i asked HOW is cussing wrong? HOW does it not glorify God. I havn't really read anywhere in the Bible how its wrong....obviously i'm a christian. I just don't see how its wrong... i mean if you look at the words definition they don't mean anything bad. On top of that like i said above i havn't found anything in the Bible that says its wrong..and i hear people saying "ooo your doing wrong" and putting me down and yet they can't prove to me why or how its wrong.

"Do not let any unholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."
so calling someone the B work or the F word sure doesnt make them feel good does it? i know it wouldnt make me feel very good...does it make you? thats why Christians are not suppose to cuss cuz it doesnt build ppl up...does that help?

well i kinda already knew that. I guess i should learn to explain things better O.o. I know calling someone a B*** or a F***tard ect.. is wrong but i get scolded and one time slapped (wth????) for just saying hell ya?? i get put down for going ahhh F*** i don't really see how that puts anyone down...my point is I don't see how just saying F*** is wrong. Just like saying stupid isn't wrong until you seriously call someone stupid. Does that make sense?

jumping in - hi! I see your point, and I've had several discussions with people about why saying such words is not fitting for a Christian. One reason is that our culture sees phrases like F*** as highly offensive and rude. Christians represent Jesus to a world that doesn't know Him. Would Jesus walk around dropping the F bomb? The life a Christian leads is a light in a dark world, or should be. If it looks just like the rest of the world, then the world will think Jesus doesn't make a diff.

Okay, I'm really ashamed. People on here are saying that God is amazing, and then turning around and calling others freaks, and losers, and emos! God doesn't want us to put eachother down. He wants us to live together in peace. I know, somepeople just think this song is about suicide. But you need to tell them that it's about God and Jesus saving a girls life! He wrote this song to her, so she knows that she was created for a reason, God has plans for her, and he loves her no matter who she is, no matter what happens, God will always be there for her.
