I love these songs. They are always guaranteed to bring tears to my eyes. I'm not ashamed to cry in public when I hear this song. People are ignorant and absoloute assholes about these men, but they are giving all their time - and all to often, never returning - so we can live normal lives. As a soldier, I think it helps us to know that people back home care.
We don't get to choose to go to Afghanistan, we have to obey orders. Some of us might not get to spend christmas with our families.
I'm getting shipped down there soon (again), and I'll be taking a copy of this album with me. I hope I get to see my daughter turn one.

I am so proud of all the soldiers even though they have put me trough a lot but as i have grown up with the army i am so so proud of them and hope they carry on with what they do and R.I.P to all falling Soldiers

Ican't believe you are all arguing about whether the song is tacky or other shite. why dont you just sit back relax, listen to the song, listen to the words and realise that they are singing this for their friends who have gone and for their famillies. They are doing a great cause who cares if it sounds tacky at least they are tryin to do somethin good instead of sittin around bitchin and moanin about it.

How dare you make this personal, I take great exception to your comment. I have a great deal of respect for our service men and women. But I dont find this song or the men singing it, respectful. I have a right to my opinion and I feel this song is tacky and our troups deserve better.

I'm really sorry but this is to tacky, Our troups deserve better than this... I wouldnt mind but they are not fighting OUR war!!!! They are being sent to slaughter and this song does nothing to make me feel any better about that. These three look like they should be on the Johnathon Ross show with a piano!!!

Letting our young men die for a 'GOOD CAUSE' isnt the way... They are not fighting for this country. Our troups deserve better, and a TACKY song doesnt cut it!!!

Bloody awful, and thoroughly wet. Yes, I know its for a good cause, but that doesn't make it any less cringeworthy.Why do they have to sing in American? I thought they are supposed to be British soldiers. Proud to be British soldiers? They certainly don't sound like it. Secondly, why have come on looking three sacks of potatoes (well scrubbed, admittedly). Proud to be British soldiers? They certaily don't look like it. It fails in every measure of taste and has charity as its only mitigation.
