@LightningfistCal He calls himself "Ibn-La'Ahad" Because even though he had a father (Which would be strange if he just sprang forth out of nothing...) he never had a true relationship with his parents. When both passed, he felt no grief because they were little more than two strangers. Hence "Son of none." He couldn't necessarily call himself their son when he hardly knew them.
