YouTube playback is not great, no matter how good your PC and internet connection is. Be assured the Camera records perfect and smooth images, after all it is just about THE best consumer camcorder.

Not necessarily interchangeable because the main lens is internal, but you can screw on a lens to the 58mm threads like he did.

With this kind of expensive camera I advise you to buy Canon WD-H58 Wide Angle lens, although it's more expensive than other converters. This one is especially designed for HF S10, 100 and 11. Initially I bought cheap Impact but it wast of money.

Other lens I recommend is Raynox 0.3x semi-fisheye for very wide shots without very big distortion. It's only semi-, not full-fisheye. It costs $100
