im stuck, i want to record a video on my screen. but i can't hear the audio ON the screen. i can only hear my voice? how can i change it to hear the audio being used in the video on the screen?
@iRangerxX If you have the mic setting to the internal microphone just turn up the volume on your mac loud enough to be heard on in the internal microphone. Let me know if this helps.
@2wenty2kingduce Thanks for the compliment! If you check out the video again and at 1:40 were I show the options drop down make sure quality is set at high. and not medium and when you import to final cut pro X make sure to have at original quality. Let me know if this helps, Thanks for watching!
@daveantz I'm not sure if there is a work around it with Quicktime. But again your paying for ishowu versus a free program already built into your OS...
The audio quality is awful using this method...essentially as good as if I took any random microphone and held it next to my speaker. Any idea if there's a way to capture high def audio with Lion (possibly as an output capture like Soundflower used to do?)
@Chazzi27 Yea, If you check out the video again and at 1:40. I show the options and you can plug in your mic and select line in rather than internal microphone. :) Otherwise speak loud and clear in a quite room and the built in mic will do fine, all my videos are with built in mics. Hope this helped out. Thanks for watching,
@Oblivion883 Records Both, You have a lot of options like magnify and etc. But your paying a premium. If you want to record screen and audio. Quicktime should do it. Let me know if you have any other questions, Thanks for watching!
@UNCizme When the Screen Recording window comes up in the center you see the record button (red dot) to the right is an arrow pointing down (a drop down) after clicking the arrow you will see the microphone settings first click built in microphone:internal microphone.
Can u import your saved recording into IMovie? Because I recently tried using IScreenior and that imports in mp4 which IMovie doesn't support. Please help.
@Nivomandasrail Yes same thing, once you have finished with your screen recording it will save it as a .mov file and if you don't want to use .mov just change it to .mp4 and accept the changes
@noremac456 If you have ScreenFlow ver. 2.1.3 which is what I am demonstrating in the video. ScreenFlow doesn't work properly in Lion. I have not found away to upgrade to 2.1.9 from 2.1.3. (Hit me up if you know how) ScreenFlow prompts me to upgrade to 3.x and with the fees required. and only 3.x from 2.1.3.
i can't hear the audio and it's all the way up
