EVER. the heat sink does nothing, its for looks, know your facts first. any rc will break over time. deal with it. the mini quake lasted for over 5 years on the market. people had to have been buying it, if it was horrible, duratrax wouldve discontinued it.

idk mn, this was the rc that got me into rc's. and i loved it, mine was extremely durable i remeber jumping it off my house, i bashed it like crazy. and range wise, at the track you dont get that far, so it was fine. why do you need to go 200 ft out? deff with a 1/18th scale. idk opinions i guess

I don't know what you're talking about. I have a mini quake, and i have had no problems with it. In fact that is the best duratrax vehicle i've ever owned. As for part breaking. I let my little cousin play with it, and he ran it into stuff at full speed, and nothing broke.

well if u like spending money watch these guys and repeat what they do like the video editing but as far as drivers the are below average anyone can take their car around the same shitty track shoot about 3 hours of vidoe and come out with something. But i should watch my mouth my vids are not good at all. thanks for posting shows everyone what these things can handle

owned a mini-t and quake back when 1/18 was taking off. the mini-t was a money pit and ultimately not a lot of fun offroad. the quake, i never bothered putting money it, hardly ever broke, and was a fun little basher.

Hmm, I actually have a rc18t. Its great, only thing is I wish they covered up the gears on it. I was actually thinking about picking up one of these also...but there isn't really a lot of support for parts on it in my area.

there isnt any support for miniquake parts here either. i had to order them in every week.

but you really should stay away from the miniquake, just watch the review! get a 1/16 erevo!

its fast when you first get it, youll have to replace the brushes in the motor every few months though. just go with the vxl.

sorry man i dont know much about brushed motors. im more of a brushless type of guy.

but making videos are a pain in the ass because editing them with the music is hard, but ill do it anyway.

ha, np bro, yeah i havent made many vids ima cctualy in the process of gettin my 1/10 losi slider put back together i had a badd fron end crash goin 26 mph right into a wooden timber, you know how when u usally hit something the rc kinda bounces around? well my slider dident bounce it hit the timber adn stuck! lol

im pretty sure the stampede xl5 is around 150. its now waterproof so that would be fun. i recomend the stampede xl5 to a beginner because it almost never breaks and its freakin crazy to jump. it can take anything, like youve seen in my other videos lol
