A new BMW 318d ( 1.8ltr 4cyl Diesel ) will get 70.6mpg Extra-urban driving, 52.3 mpg Urban driving and 62.8 mpg Combined, so getting 72mpg from something thats one step up from a Kenwood food processor is'nt good tbh...and for those who then say " But people might not be able to afford a new car "...then buy second hand.... VW Golf diesel will also get really good MPG...and if you really like kissing Al Gores arse....then buy a Prius...but lets just hope the brakes work....if you get my drift.

Actually the odometer increments in Kilometers. That's what they don't tell you. So actually he was getting 60 Kilometers per gallon which is more like 35 mpg.

not really,it is actually in miles, not kilometers, and it's true that it gets 72 MPG, my cousin has 2 650T or truck, and he drives it everyday, 15 miles round trips to and from work, and he fills the tanks up every other week out of the over 5 gallon fuel tank (im guessing 5.2 gallons fuel tank), so he be using just almost 3 gallons of fuel every 2 weeks 70 MPG with a total miles driven of 210 miles, he is getting his money worth for them high petrol prices

Been testing since October 2008. Whenever we drive another car exactly one mile the wildfire odometer registers 1.7 which , obviously there are 1.7 kilometers to a mile.

It look better than the 08 model . I worked on one , it was a turd but it was a blast to drive . The 08 had a 250 one cylinder with a top speed of about 45 but I couldn't be sure , the speedo started sweeping over 40
