@acdgui As a guitar player of 37 years, no I am not kidding. Sg's are heavy guitars. Mohagany is a dense and heavy wood. You must have owned a copy. Call the Gibson Co and ask them if their Sg's are light. I'm not completely certain, but I think they weight around 9 lbs. which is a little on the heavy side. I have a '69 and a '73. Maybe the later model ones are cheaply made as Gibson is far overpriced, made with cheaper quality wood and are currently being sued up the ass.

But indeed you're right, this is a really dense wood which gives in a way that particular sound to the Gibson so how can a gibson be light anyway??^^...oh by the way, all the French are not Pussies or faggots so mind your language!!!
