@ 51 seconds he "pulls them out" and here is where the misdirection starts.

The 3 torn corners lean to the right the folded inverted bill preped to have half of it moved into that same position.

@ 58 seconds he's discarded the 3 torn corners with his right hand and with his left tilts the invert bill back so it is edge on while using his thumb to push folded bill to be in the same "V" shape then brings his left hand back so the bill is face on

After this the trick is done.

It is a special "bill" that is 2 bills in 1 sharing the top right corner.

The bill is pre-folded when he signs so hi won't notice the extra bits.

When he "tears" the bill he's just tearing the other 3 corners away from the inverted folded bill part.

KB slight of hand is great. The fact that you can pause and rewind allow you the opportunity to locate where his hands are at all times. The real trick is that he was able to get the name of "method man" beforehand somewhere without him knowing or remembering and getting him to come to the hunt to be humbled!

The majority of cris angels tv tricks are just bullshit camera tricks which you or I could so with a little cg soft ware and a decent camera. He is very good at stage illusions and so he is considered one of the best ever.Its not that regular illusions are staged It's the skill in which the magician and his staff preform the show.

It's unfortunate that there are multiple camera angles but if you watch at 1:01 you can see where he puts Method Man's bill down. Drawing our attention to his left hand while his right moves behind the counter.
