  • Where can I get the full documentary?

  • @nycesltalk Send me a private message and I can send you a copy. They are $12 from me...or you can go to Amazon and type Locavore Movie to purchase.

    Thanks for your interest!

  • The Musician's name is Bill Powers. He has several groups, the most well known is called Sweet Sunny South. He wrote a couple really catchy original tunes for this film.

  • Who is the musician in this video?

  • I am amazed by this movie. really. Im the FFA president at my school and im doing an SAE on Ag communicaions and getting people informed about agriculture. this movie has helped me a lot and given me some good ideas, in a way it has inspired me. thank you and I hope i can do what i can to make a difference in my community :)

  • Mr. Canode, I would love to purchase a copy of this film. My girlfriend and I strive to come as close to 100% local as possible. We understand that with our dietary issues (crohn's disease) it's not always easy, but it's worth it. I'm sorry stopthechem, your buddy Alex Jones is nothing is a paranoid schizophrenic who feeds off other schizophrenics, such as yourself. Here's an idea, maybe people want to do good just to do good. The NWO and Chem trails aren't real. Fluoride isn't mind control...

  • @stopthechem...My name is Jay Canode. I produced and directed Locavore. I can assure you there is no conspiracy behind this film. I live in rural western Colorado where the movie was created. The E.P. if you want to call her that, is an organic farmer that actually farms for a living. Her entire family works over 200 acres. They raise all their own feed for livestock, produce all their own fertilizer and its ALL organic. I have never seen a harder working family anywhere.

  • We made this film for under $10K dollars. Believe it or not the community I live in is one of the poorest in the state of Colorado, but they are also some of the healthiest. Our lifestyle revolves around food grown locally. We spend lots of energy making this happen but I can tell you its worth it.

  • Great video!!! Look forward to following you guys more.

  • iam feeling there is agenda here the NWO want to reduce the American population by 100m this looks driven by big interests in order in give people a false sense of sercurity there is something not right here but iam not sure what//

  • @stopthechem i know whats not right the local thing has turned into an iterest of the rich people with no lives but what dont understand is it cheaper to eat local butr they charge so much that we cant afford it its stupid thats they charge 10 buck for a local tomtato when i could get non local for 3fucking gay

  • thats very interesting thanks iam trying to peice this one together.any thing with project in front of it smells like a rat....project locavore... project bluebeam project cloverleaf on and on...

  • @wannabetrooper263 Not sure where you live. Here I can get a pound of local tomatoes for one dollar during the peak season. The difference in prices between supermarket food and local food is that you are paying the cost that it actually takes to grow the food, and pay those who grow it. The prices of food at the supermarket are buffered by cheap labor and government subsidies. Basically this means you are paying for the food in your taxes instead of at the checkout counter.

  • Wow, this was great. I may start gardening again ... NOT! But I am more conscious about organically grown foods. Maybe a garden when I move again ...
