I realize your his son, but the reason ODB was so loved and well regarded was becuz of his uniqueness and originality, making his style be one that you can't imitate. He wasn't really skilled in the technical sense. So when he fucks up on a track or misses a rhyme it's funny and permitted becuz he is him. but you doing it just makes you look unintelligent and unoriginal. I like this a lot, he definitely has element of his dad's style but there is something there that is definitely completely his. His lyrics are kind of intensely good, strange flow but solid: life is not fair, but I am going to work harder to get through it.

i think im on the fence with ydb. just like majority of the others who are fans of the wu and odb. we gotta kinda think about it like this, odb had this crazy style. he never really coppied anybdy and he always did his own thing. this is the same exact thing. i cant compare ydb to any rapper as of right now, got his own stye (kinda like odb but what do u expect) and is doing something completly different. not saying the different is for the best or worst but everyones got there own opinion.
