Thanks, Alan! I wasn't really surprised as I was disappointed. Now, the real only hope for foreign power is an 82E out of the blue, or a 50N, maybe an oddball freight, and not much else.
Nice video Cody, looks good, caught alot of trains, to bad their really is not that much color on those engines to spices it up some more, lol, 5 stars
Thanks, Kodi! You're right about the NS scheme; usually the best you have to look forward to is a Conrail, since foreign power is pretty rare now that the BNSF coal trains on this line have been cancelled.
what the heck is with helpers like that? I remember when coal trains had ns 5402 and 5403 (sd50s) on the end, but that was before the sd40e program. What were they using that much power for? Is that a regular practice, because I never see that kind of power by rockport yard!
I have no clue why all that was on there. Only the two Dash 9 Widecabs nearest to the hoppers were online, the rest were dead heading. Why on a coal drag? I couldn't tell you.
Awesome Video!! Those helpers were Amazing!!!

I did a double-take on train #5....GP38-3s? They look like GP35s

I assure you they are GP38-2's; the lead engine number is 5819 and the trailing unit is 5814, both GP38-3's.

Great video Cody!! Just can't understand why the BNSF coal trains got cancelled. Enjoyed seeing them though.

Nice light power and gp38-3s. Too bad they were converted from high hood gp50s!
