DivX's instability on XP at the moment pisses me off. Constantly crashes and freezes.

I was playing a recording I did with my HD camera. But the film jumps all the time.

I got Windows XP, maybe the problem lies there?

ok i really need help, this morning, my computer said that windows could'nt play the following media formats. AVI,ASF,WMV,AVS,FLV,MKV,MOV,3P­G,MP4,MPG,MPEG,MP3,ACC,WAV,WMA­,CDA,FLAC,M4A,and MID. now my computer looks wierd and fucked up. an evry tume i open up the internet it has the message entitled fatal error. plzz help out cuz i dnt like my computer lookin like this.

your windows 7 is different from mine. did you get it from the website or did you buy it with your computer. i bought mine from the testing center.

the reason is because he has vista not windows 7

and they shutdown the downloading of windows 7 because the have started to sell pcs with it. i on the other hand use the download and still have it today so if anyone wants to install it without buying it or downloading the torrent or the iso or stuff msg me and if i get enough msgs i will post a tutorial on how to get it for free and keep it forever

@jeangreyfan not for me :S It is just playing the background sound in "alice in wonderland" but hey , before i got windows 7 codec package 2.8, windows media player and divx could do that. But Divx told me the reseon why i couldnt hear any audio, vlc didnt. But i prefer VLC :D

vista codec pack sucks use k-lite the owner of vista codec pack shark007 will banned you from the forums if you say anything about any other codec pack on his site. the dude is not polite at all and i uninstalled his codec pack as if you cant get support then why keep it.

All you have to do is download "Media Player Classic" "ffdshow tryouts" and "k-lite codec pack" then you got everything you can play blu-ray .mkv files in media player classic and divx xvid etc etc Windows Media Player sucks....

dose the codec pack only update windows programs. i have a program called liqud that i use for making videos. i downloaded some videos whith a mac and converted them to mpeg4, but my liquid cold not inport the files. do you think it is becorse of the mac codec?
