@ZachIsWhat1 -> actually, while i think they both have in common a certain gutsyness, power & edge - i find the intricacy of the delivery of her voice quite different to how janis does it. while the same style, if she wanted to sound like janis cloned i'm sure she could, but cos she's singing it naturally, she makes it her own as a cover.

shelby has long had her own distinctive vocal sound, and it's exacted perfectly here.
