I have neither, but will be getting one of the two. I still play on my original ds lite, but the touch screen is getting sketchy.... so, big question, do I get a bigger, less battery life ubt better performing 3ds, or get the dsi. I travel lot, and battery life meens a lot to me, its the ability to get on a 11 hr plane flight and play as much as I want... vs.. well.. not! also, I normally travel witth a backpack, so smaller is better, and durability is a must. advice?

@rwbuie well i have a 3ds. and the battery is a turn off. but so far i am enjoying it more then my lite. i also travel alot. i bought a extra battery pack thingy you put on the bottom adds about an extra five hours but does add an extra good inch to the system soo if that doesn't bother you i would look into picking that up.

whenever i think about it, devil survivor sounds like a pretty boring game. i mean place them on a map walk around and fight demons. but whenever i play it, i can not put it down. it's just so amazing. such a weird effect

i hate yuzu's voice.  i wished they'd cast someone with a little bit more mature voice instead of this one trick pony. devil survivor was my first ds game and i'll stick with that version since i can just imagine her voice not sounding like cr@p

I got every ending in the original DS game, and I defeated Lucifer in battle. Let me reiterate: LUCIFER, the Judeo-Christian fallen angel and lord of all darkness and evil, fell by my hand! *sigh* And because I am a fanboy and an idiot, I am probably going to buy the game again for the 3DS just to see the stupid epilogue chapter. *shakes fist at Atlus*

It's kind of annoying that you continuously skip the voiced dialogue. Also, this version of the game is much better. If people have a 3DS and they have the DS version, they can cash in some money from it to buy this one.

And another thing. 3D isn't all that there is for the 3DS. Don't ignore its powerful engine that helped to remaster the in-game character art, for example.

I still did't finished the original DS game, and this one looks pretty cool, but I don't own a 3DS, anyway SMT is a awesome series, and its really hard most of the time, and the character designs are awesome (although I like more Kazuma Kaneko's style, DS design looks pretty good).

That said, yeah, I only own a Lite model and that's fine with me. Sony did a similar thing with the PSP, but my original model serves me perfectly fine. Kinda what makes me want a Vita even if they release an updated unit.

I have the original I would know xD its just like No more heroes: heroes paradise, its basically no more heroes 1 for the PS3 and Xbox 360... but the original is on the nintendo wii. alot of games are just ports. there are SOME bonuses but otherwise its the same thing for a higher price

@TheIrateFan The DS had the same shaky start as well. Devs were unsure if the touch-screen would be the new "thing". Turns out, it was. So technically, the 3DS is pretty much following in the footsteps of the DS right now.
