No, the time doesn't start until you start moving! You can let the lights go green and wait 15 seconds if you want to, and then go and you can still run a 12 second time! I've been racing for quite a few years and have never tried to cut a good light because it is to no advantage of me to do so on TNT nights. NHRA and bracket racing is a different story, but your RT (reaction time) still has nothing to do with your ET (elapsed time)! And where do you get that i am an angry person??
Watch the very top related video on the right and that guy waits 6 second before he leaves the line and runs a 12 second time and his the same mods at the supra in this video does, so that should just support my point!
That was a 2.0 and a 1.9 60' time on street tires, so it is a pretty good launch, and on pump gas and 18psi on a 120,000 mile bone stock motor with just the single conversion i would say that its above average. Now if the car had race gas, or cams, or drag radials then i would say that it needs improvement, but the car makes 480whp! With some better tires and/or race gas then the car is definately an 11 second car!!!
yea true bpu supra can hit 11's but thats on drag radials this one is on street tires. An some of those bpu's are on slicks also. race gas an other thinks. hes prolly runnin pump gas. that turbo is pretty good so im sure on race gas an drags he sould deff be low 11.
with a good set of cams you can easily hit 550whp because you then have the ability to run more boost. you can run 11's with stock turbos, but then again that one probably had head work and after market cams, so its not really the same setup!

how about a better launch? it just sucks 2 see a t67 mkiv only pull 12's i would think 11's would be possible (!!!!)
