This is a personal opinion, love comes in all shapes and sizes. Maybe ages? My dad is now engaged to someone 20 years older than him, he's 31 and she's 51. At first I thought it was wierd, but I look at history and guys it's all over the place. Younger men with older women, older men with younger women. Edgar Allen Poe's first wife was 13 I believe and they weren't even in love. These people are in love. I don't see how it could be wrong.
@Bitesize1991-Why watch it if you're so opposed to what happened? Would you seek out child pornography just to voice your disgust and unapproval of it?

@napachild-They're not in favor of younger/older people getting married, etc. But one thing is for sure, it's HARD to get into their circle. Which is why I believe he was never a victim. And if he was a victim, he deserves the Oscar of the Decade. I see him and Mary regularly and they're happy (and great) people.

Grew up in Port Orchard, moved to Seattle, then to Edmonds and left for northern CA in 1986. I love CA. One of the reasons I left WA is because of people's attitudes there. They are nosy and judgemental. Put up with neighbors like that for years. I think Mary Kay was railroaded to satisfy people's attitudes there.
@napachild-The reason I'm not the typical Washingtonian is because I was fortunate enough to travel a lot...mostly to the California area. I've been all over so I was able to see different perspectives and lifestyles and I love it. I've adopted the personality of a Southern Californian when I was younger. I have a love-hate relationship here. Great place to raise family, air/water quality, less expensive....but I go to Cali twice a year for a reason...I need to recharge my battery. :D
@terrelya83 P.S. My son's inlaws are Guamanian. They don't seem to have a problem with interracial relationships as my son (and I) are caucasian and other relatives are Phillipino, black, etc.
@napachild-It is what it is. All I know is that I'm proud of them because despite all the BS they still maintain a normal life as if none of that happened. They don't hide their relationship or sugar-coat anything either. My daughter is part filipina...yet people had a HUGE problem with my interracial relationship. Like we said, people in Seattle have nothing else better to do. Seattle is the smallest, BIG CITY on the planet. I have family in Norther Cali.

My youngest son and his Guamanian family live in Vallejo and my oldest son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter and great grandson all live in Southern CA, mostly Apple Valley. When I was driving truck interstate, every time I was coming home, it was so good to cross the CA state line and think "I'm home again."
@napachild-San Fran. I also have fam in Los Angeles. I have many many friends in San Diego. Like I said I practically live there. Hopefully move to San Diego maybe in the next 5 years depending on how things go here but for now I just visit out there twice a year. I'll be in Palm Springs in July. It's gonna be HOOOOOT!! But at least I still get my Cali fix. LoL
@AbsolutelyAmberxo I agree.When soeone with 13 nows better to treat someone, there something wrong with you.That Steve should have been prosecuted for domestic violence, but everyone was concerned with linching Mary, so no one "noticed" the violence of this alleged american father.At leats Vili and Mary had the excuse of love for breaking rules, this Steve was just a shit.She's much better with Vili who loves her.
