drums can be extremely powerful, but they must be built with meticulous care and quality machining. Also a horizontal spinner doesn't always hit first, if you have your drum spinning fast enough, like at 17,000rpm it will catch the edge of the horizontal blade before it actually can hit the drum.

This was on my birthday :D btw, im just getting into battlebots and i'm gonna make a featherweight to begin with. Should i make one with an upwards rolling spiked drum on the front, or should i make a spinner for my first bot?

@Cwafter I personally like the horizontal spinner idea since it always hits first. But drums are very effective as well. I have 2 antweight spinners that are both in this video. The orange one and the red and black bloody drips one.
