how accurate or not accurate are these things. i mean do you have to really aim for their gun light, or is you`re laser going to be so wide that you dont need to aim very much and you still hit them. the latter would not be good.

@minirobot1 no actually it detects very well and accurate , it's not one of those crappy ones where you aim the opposite way and still hits your enemy, these lazertag things work perfectly fine

The Phoenix LTX has been a rare commodity for awhile now. Selling for $150 - $250 + shipping. When I first bought my tagger when it came out, I told everyone I knew who was cool to get one... I guess their not so cool as I thought, LOL! Now they want one, but can't find any at a reasonable price. Hope you come out w/ more products for the LTX soon Brian! Thanks for all the fun :-D

For Lazer tag to work you really need vests to detect tags.

He also doesn't know where you are yet. So he holds his small weapon behind up against this tree while he looks out from the tree to see where you are. You can't identify him because the entire team is wearing the same uniform. This can be avoided with some simple gear.

Another is where they just have their back turned to you, and are hugging the gun. This means you can't

use flanks to help

It's extremely accuarte. As for as fast as you can fire, its as fast as you can pull the trigger. The shotgun attachment is around 1 shot every three seconds. The new rapidfire attachement fires 10 shots in about 3 seconds.

I love paintball (woodsball) and airsoft 9milsim) unfortunately the downsides are:

1. limited range

2. limited accuracy

3. requires private property to play

laser tag solves all those issues for me. I miss the pain of paintballs but find the pros of laser tag overrides that one major bonus of paintball.

Plus, i custom painted my laser tagger (camo) and eventually will build a kit to convert my airsoft guns into laser tag guns.

dont knock anything until you try it.

you are all right. I play airsoft and its a pain for authorities when they see the airsoft guns. Its a good idea to get a cheap airsoft gun and put a laser tag system inside.

thanks for the upload, wheres the next tagfest at? it seems like a cool gathering to be at, i have been playing off and on for decades now, and would like to join you all, nice demo of the new system, i have an old ir team ops mode, and some strikers from the old tiger lazer tag line, and some worlds of wonder gear too, i love laser gaming, anyways nice new gear, i will probally pick the new ones up sooner or later, they seem a might expensive still, but i guess worth it

It is backwards compatible with LTTO. It will join in LTTO games, but can't host.

lol, problem is everyone at TagFest is a hardcore PLAYER -- about the only time we stop playing is when we're too exhausted to move and then we'd be too exhausted to keep up with the players ;) This gives a good players-eye-view without resorting to a "gun cam" which usually catches even more ground views except during the actual battles.

The TMB is only three years old now, and it's still a preferred tagger for many hard core players. If you come, by all means, bring your favorite tagger(s).

The LTX in it's current form will not be able to host games. However it will be able to join in games that are hosted by the older LTTO gear.

Retail is supposed to be $79.95 for 2 blasters, 2 ShotBlast barrel accessories, 2 green-dot scope accessories, and 1 TV game accessory.

They'll be on the shelves in late July to early August in small quantities, and more widely available by mid-September or so.
